Been sampling as many breakfast places as possible while here as we are good breakfast fans. We were walking towards Rosemary and Thyme Bakery/Cafe but gave up b/c it was rainy and windy and hubs new knee was bothering him. Bailed when we found Franklin Spa. Oh so sorry we gave up... Super friendly waitress, def divvy vibe and mediocre,... More

The name SPA refers to the old days when food was served in a spa. It is a breakfast and lunch cafe just off the main drive of Newport. It is pretty basic food and not very flavorful. I would not recommend it.

Friendly efficient breakfast spot! Loved my healthy egg white omelet ! My husband loved his blueberry pancakes! It will be a repeat spot for us!

Decent diner fare. Home made blueberry muffins which they will grill for you. Some days may beat waiting at Annie's on Bellevue.

The food was average - eggs Benedict and omelet. The service was great. The prices seemed kind of high, even for Newport. If not for being located around the corner from where we were staying, I would have grabbed bfast to go from Starbucks and sat at the harbor.

We ate at The Franklin Spa 4 out 5 days while on vacation. The western omelette was delicious! Generous portions. We also had pancakes and eggs and bacon. They also offer smoothies and fresh fruit. It's cash only but they do have an ATM.

My daughter (20), my husband, and I ate breakfast here on a Tuesday morning about 11:15. There was no wait at this time. The service was good, the coffee was great, but the omelets were way over priced. We each ordered an omelet and a coffee and the bill was $47 without the tip. The day before we ate at... More

Stumbled on this place mainly because we couldn't find any other place to park in the whole town. People on the street told us this place was famous because of a Woody Allen Movie. I can't verify that. Food was good but I can't say it was great. I'd eat here again - I recommend some of the local specialities.... More

Looking for the best Lobsta roll? This place has the best I've experienced with a bowl of Chowda on the side !! Served warm on a soft bun with melted butter in a small cup. Great atmosphere and friendly service. Cash or local checks only!

We had breakfast at the spa.... It was pretty busy and could tell everyone like it. I had biscuits and gravy. Excellent. Pancake was good too. Service was awesome. The only thing is they only take cash. No credit or debit cards. They have an atm on site if needed. Not really sure about only cash but it was a... More
