Variety on the menu is awesome. Beers on tap are a great selection. Service is good. I can't complain about anything I have eaten. My favorite time is Newport Restaurant Week. LOVE the lobster and waffles! The steaks are amazing too. It does get very cold downstairs with the door opening and closing. I hate eating with my coat on.

We enjoyed a nice lunch here on a weekend. It was recommended by a shop owner at Bowen's Wharf. Small dive with a nice bar. It was packed at noon time. We were lucky to catch a table by the door, unfortunately it was very cold with the front door opening and closing constantly. Kept our jackets on. We had... More

We had 2 great lunches at Benjamin's. It's down to earth, good prices, and friendly staff. Be aware that seating is a little tighter than some of the other local restaurants. My favorite was their special for a lobster and a bowl of clam chowder for $19.99. I had no idea how to rip apart a complete lobster-but locals at... More

Need I say more? Just the best raw bar in the country. Old time restaurant in the middle of the honey hole. Friendly amazing tenders and shuckers. Was packed from lunch to dinner. Went on a Tuesday when Oysters were a dolled each and clams were 75cents. Delicious and the best deal in America. Loved it

We stopped specifically for the 12-2pm Happy Hour for oysters, clams and shrimp. The place was very busy, but after a very short wait we were able to grab to stools at the bar. My companion was very happy with his draft beer and the bartender mixed me a very mean Cosmopolitan, awesome! The oysters were fresh and very tasty.... More

We have walked past this restaurant for years without going in, big mistake. The bar/pub look of the restaurant is deceiving as you will get a 1st class meal. I had one of the best filet's ever here. The meat was perfectly cook, juicy and tasty all alone. Great raw bar menu at very reasonable prices compared to its neighbors... More

Well we chose to go upstairs. When food was served, ice was melted with in 15 min where oysters should rest and by this time, they were swimming. I did... More

I HAD THE LOBSTER GRILLED CHEESE AND IT WAS GREAT. We went back later that evening and sat at the bar. There was a young crowd and an attentive bartender. We will go back.

Great place for lunch or dinner. Clams casino are the best we ever had - hands down. Lobster roll sandwich off the charts good. Take full advantage of early bird specials including reduced appetizer and drink prices. Casual dining. You can keep all the fancy places including the French restaurant Bouchard. Not worth the money or experience of eating there.... More

Lobster bisque. Three flecks of fish. Tried to report our disappointment with owner who was a scarey obnoxious man. Won't be back.
