We had one of the best seafood dinners we have ever had at Azure. The swordfish was just outstanding! This a bit pricey - but well worth the money for a special evening. Sitting outside and watching the surfers on Waikiki beach was an added...More

Great food well presented and cooked. A little bit high priced, figure on $15-$20 of appetizers and small plates to $40 for entrees. Try the amazing seafood salad! They have several fresh seafood selctions everyday artfully done to perfection.

The food was wonderful, though the wine that was paired with the meal wasn't the best. The service was also a bit off. But it was a lovely meal in wonderful surroundings.

I got the tasting menu when I ate there without the wine pairings. Every course was very delicious and the waitstaff was excellent.

I always wanted to eat here because the hotel it is in (Royal Hawaiian) was the R&R location for submarine crews in WWII. Azure is in a great location; you can sit on the lanai and enjoy the weather or eat inside. Being the land...More

We wanted to experience some part of the famed Royal Hawaiian hotel so we chose to eat here. The atmosphere is strangely Moroccan which seems out of place in Hawaii. But the restaurant is very nicely detailed with Moroccan lamps hanging from the ceilings. The...More

We had the hotel make the booking for us and they got us in the same night so might just be a website thing. I'd call direct.

Description
The Royal Hawaiian presents Azure - a world-class restaurant perched along the Waikiki beachfront under the canopy of hotel's dramatic architecture. The bejeweled oceanfront space is adorned with intimate candles, plush banquettes, and pillows - creating an ambience of exquisite relaxation. Daily at 5:30 am, the ringing of a brass bell announces the opening of the Honolulu fish auction. And it is here that our chefs begin their quest for the freshest morning catch. Obsessed with quality and driven by excellence, they handpick the best of the best. Offering you, our discerning patrons, the tastiest seafood on the island and an experience beyond compare. Whether it is ahi, opah, onaga, opakapaka, or moi that whets your appetite - locally caught fish are selected each morning at daybreak from the Hawaii fish auction and then prepared with your pleasure in mind.
