We went there for awedding lunch. The food was very decent. You can see the Waikiki beach from the restaurant. Service was decent. Location is great. Overall experience there was very pleasant.

We heard it had rained for about 5 minutes in the morning but that hardly seemed a good reason to have the luau inside. They seemed very unorganized at first too. It took over an hour to get our first cocktail but they kept them flowing after that. The food was FANTASTIC so I recommend that you go VERY hungry!... More

Always try to dine here at least once, always for lunch, the menu is reasonably priced, for such a famous establishment, and there is always something that we fancy, which helps. Service can sometimes be a little slow.

The hotel, while famous, is strategically placed in behind the hubbub of downtown Waikiki. We happened upon it while shopping and saw this gorgeous reminder of an elegant era. We walked into the hotel, went to the back lawn through the gorgeous lobby and low and behold, we saw the Aha'aina. It was already past lunch so, it was only... More

We were married in Hawaii 25 years ago on 3rd July and our first meal as a married couple was at this restaurant. We decided to return for our anniversary celebration. Everything was perfect! Food, service, location, nothing could be faulted!

It wouldn't be a visit to Oahu, without a stop at the Royal Hawaiian and the Mai Tai Bar! Waikiki Beach, Diamond Head, the ocean, the people watching and some of the Best Mai Tai's. Make sure you walk the beach.

This has been a "must do" for every visit to Honolulu for the last forty years. The food is a bit pricey but do go for a cocktail and enjoy that postcard view of Diamond Head from the Mai Tai Bar..

Had to visit the venerable Royal Hawaiian Hotel. Waikiki property is so valuable that the hotel is totally surrounded by high rise properties. Walk through

The Royal Hawaiian is hidden between a lot of high rise hotels but still has a fantastic beach front restaurant! I have eaten there many times over the years and always go back, It never ceases to amaze how I run into friends and/or famous people there!
