We went before going to see Honolulu Opera Theatre's production of Three Decembers after being told by friends the food was excellent. It is beyond excellent. Pricey, but there's a reason a few shrimp and some noodles cost $18.50. However, for a pricey meal, the atmosphere, the expreience was not great. We had barely started to look at the menu... More

We actually just came upon this place while we were looking for another restaurant. As we looked in the window, the restaurant looked clean and very inviting. So our family of eight went in and had a wonderful meal. Because of the time change, it was very late for us but we were all very hungry. The scallop soup was... More

First place I go whenever I visit Hawaii. Cheap and delicious, which I think everyone already knows.

What is nice is that they had their own small parking lot (free). We ordered family style, the food was very good, the portions were small and expensive and the service wasn't very good. We ordered the orange chicken which they advertised as award winning but it wasn't special, but the noodle dishes were exceptional.

Everyones reviews were so good, but I was disappointed. Biggest complaint was that out of our three food items, two were excessively salty and the other one had zero flavor at all. It was obvious that the chefs/cooks didn't taste their own food before sending it out. The service was acceptable and you can bring your own wine if you... More

Although food was good and tasty, service was spotty. It took 15 minutes for server to take order and she had to be hailed several times. It was not that busy. The three dishes we ordered arrived at different times. Many flies were noticeable and annoying.

My wife's ex-husband's brother and sister in law live on Oahu and we are here visiting with children and grandchildren. The 8 of us went to LVNH and were not disappointed. We got a table with a lazy Susan and were served promptly by wait staff. The menu was expensive and somewhat eclectic, at least to this mainlander. We ordered... More

I was pleasantly surprised at how not greasy their fried rice was. I could see oil at the bottom of the plate but it was very well made. We also had lemongrass chicken, that was very nice. Some shrimp dish good but nothing to get excited about

I went here with my elderly parents for an early supper. First, free parking in the lot on Smith Street. The restaurant was pretty empty but clean and well maintained. We got a booth but the tables are small so cozy at best. The waiter was attentive and made good suggestions when asked. Two dishes were highly recommended so we... More
