We went because we wanted to escape the craziness of Wakikii and were getting tired of sushi. Town was our favorite meal of our trip, excellent food and wonderful service. The menu is a mix of Italian with organice and Hawaiian touches. Very creative with interesting flavor profiles. My friend had the tasting menu which was a great option. You... More

Be prepared for excellent food with out all the formality that usually accompanies such offerings. All in our party raved about their meal. I enjoyed the chicken leg with macadamia nuts, roasted grapes, greens and prosciutto. A tasty amaretto sour was a wonderful refreshment to compliment the food.

Not in the Waikiki tourist trap. More locals than tourists. You're gonna need reservations. Hip and modern interior with a Mother Earth kinda vibe. Looks like local artists displayed on walls. Same owner as Mud Hen Water ( see my review) Farm to table style. Locally sourced and organic when possible. Printed on the menu is a quote from George... More

I enjoyed a great breakfast here a few years ago and we returned for lunch. The food was fresh and very tasty. The roasted tomato soup was flavorful, but was a bit cool when it arrived. The bitter greens salad was excellent. The service was very friendly.

Located on the corner in Kaimuki...The atmosphere is quaint and family oriented. The wine selection is a mix of Spanish/Italian- The portions are just right. The beef ragu & mussels were excellent. You can't miss eating here, just make sure you call early and make reservations. Also, the people working there are very nice and pleasant and knowledgeable on wines... More

Overall it was good. Calling to make reservations last minute was a hassle. I always got a busy signal so I literally had to drive there (a 20 minute drive) which I felt was unnecessary but we wanted to give the place a try since it had good reviews. The quality of the food was great and a bit pricey... More

Town is a wonderful gem of a restaurant. The food was excellent, reasonably priced. The service, quick. The restaurant is warm and inviting. Certainly a place to go back to!

Go where the locals go. Town is the first slow food, farm to table restaurant in Honolulu and is now an anchor establishment in the Honolulu suburb of Kaimuki. Everything is great here and you can feel great knowing that your $ goes to supporting local food sustainability. Lunch or dinner, rain or shine, you will always leave Town happier... More

We dined as a group of 8, and the pasta dishes were very good, but the meat dishes were underwhelming. The pork and steak were both overcooked. Side components of polenta and greens were better. Service was relatively slow. Lovely environment, just not thriving on all aspects of experience.

Great atmosphere, very nicely designed restaurant, and although it is a higher end restaurant you feel that you are a friends place. The Chef is really good and well known on the island. They have other restaurants in the neighborhood as well. The dishes and local fish, meat, greens and veges, were exceptional. We tried the Ono Fish and the... More
