The sandwiches we had from the Sprout Sandwich Shop were well made and delicious. Service was also very friendly. Definitely give this place a go. Loved the variety of sandwiches and that everything was so fresh, and that there were great vegan and vegetarian options...too for the fillings!!More
I ordered the Duke, and it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! If I lived in Hawaii, I’d be back for me. I highly recommend this sandwich shop, although the sandwiches were a little pricier than I’d like to pay.
Beautiful people preparing beautiful ingredients (some local) into beautiful sandwiches. Do yourself a favor and eat here. Nicer to your wallet than most lunch places, dine in at the little counter or to-go. Lots of add ons that are reasonably priced considering you are in...an island. I ate here on 12/14/18 after hiking Diamondhead and Kokohead Stairs. I took some people with me who joined me during my hike. I ordered the Duke and it was just as I remembered it. Delicious!! Everyone enjoyed their meal. I also ate here on...12/22/18 with my aunt and cousin after hiking the Makapuu Lighthouse. Once again, I ordered the Duke and it was still delicious. This is a small place with limited indoor/outdoor seating. Also, parking is very limited. There isn’t a public bathroom either. I enjoy that the entire staff are women too. They are always so pleasant. This is my favorite sandwich shop when visiting my family in Honolulu. I can’t wait to eat here again. Yummy in my tummy!!More
I had the macadamia pesto chicken salad (without the garlic mayo) and it was fabulous!! They were busy and it still was a reasonable wait. Ordering online would be very convenient for anyone in a rush. So happy I found this place near HNL Chiro....Two birds, one stone (er, parking lot LOL)— happy camper! In the area for a shop and stopped in for lunch after 1 PM. Very limited seating, more for carryout. Popular spot, 10 minute wait for wife and my sandwich at 1:15 in afternoon. The chicken salad and tuna salad on our sandwiches were very...light portions. As the restaurant name hinted sandwiches were heavy on the sprouts, also cucumber and tomatoes. If you're looking for overpowered vegetarian on your meat sandwich for carryout, may be good spot. Food wasn't bad, but I personally would look elsewhere for meat sandwich.More
Happened to stop in the small village of Haleiwa and found this fantastic little sandwich shop. The food was fresh, the staff was friendly, and the proportions were great. I got "The Floater" and my son got "The Duke", both were wonderful. I think it...was the best meal of all the meals I've had on Oahu. I totally recommend this place to anyone looking for great food. I would highly recommend this cafe to everyone!!!!!!! The food is SO fresh and tastes beyond amazing. I got the Sproutwich sandwich. I love meat but I thought I would try this vegan sandwich. I was so impressed by the flavours. On Friday 12/22/17, we ate here after our attempt to hike Kokohead was canceled due to the rain. This is a tiny sandwich shop with excellent service and food. I ordered the Duke with avocado and so did my cousin. My other cousin ordered the...yogi and my aunt ordered the sproutwhich. All of our sandwiches were so delicious. They do not make the sandwiches until you order. You can taste the fresh produce and I love that they toasted my bread. I loved the pickled purple onion. The chips and drink are not included in the price of the sandwich. I will definitely go back before I leave and on future trips here. I also really enjoyed that the staff were all women. Wanted to try something different from subways or fast food, this hole in the wall shop in kaimuki is definitely worth the effort to locate. Parking can be a challenge as the only options are street parking or a nearby municipal parking lot. While the...menu may not be huge, everything is made to order. Not being the adventurous type, I opted for the a plain turkey sandwich with avocado , the sandwich was made while you wait and everything was fresh, while it was a simple sandwich I was only able to eat half of it and gave the other half to my wife and she thoroughly enjoyed it.More
