A nice place popular with the locals, definitely tucked away. Overall I liked our experience and would go back. Our server was friendly but somewhat inattentive. It was a busy Friday evening but almost two hours from the time we were seated to the time...we left seemed to long. Our stuffed mushroom appetizer was excellent. Not the first time I’ve been there but I won’t be going back. Our waitress Iris made a point of telling us how pressed for time she was and that the food was going to take long to be served. I was ok with that...but waiting almost an hour after a beer was not expected. I had the Chicken Schnitzel which was described as a SAUTÉED in lemon butter chicken cutlet. What was served was a fried, partially burnt, salty cutlet with some lemon flavor. The “candied” carrots were neither candied nor fully cooked. The two potato pancakes were the better part of the meal. The crab cake appetizer was small but tasty but over dressed in the remoulade sauce. Our waitress Iris was inattentive and brusque and offered to bet that I’d read the menu wrong. (Well she lost 5 bucks of her gratuity on that bet and I’m sorry I gave her as much as I did). I work in a restaurant, eat in many and know the difference between sautéed and a fried cutlet which was most likely not prepared in the kitchen! She said she’d pass that along to the chef (I doubt she will). Furthermore I live locally, I’m not a guest of the nearby resort and I will definitely let my friends and anyone else interested know how disappointed I was in my experience. Just returned from a very disappointing dinner with family. We were a party of 4, had reservations and were seated promptly, after that it was all downhill. Our waitress Iris, came over to take our order and I asked her if she could take our...picture, we were celebrating a 70th Birthday, and she answered in an annoyed tone- “I am very busy and don’t have the time now, I’ll do it later”( which she never did), Ok. In a tone of a drill sergeant, we were warned our orders would take some time, and YES about 2 Hrs was a long time. My wife had ordered mash potatoes- but when hers arrived, with no explanation received a baked potato. After inquiring she was told they probably out of mash. No apology. Another family member ordered the Chicken Schnitzel, - which came as a dried breaded chicken cutlet. After inquiring about a sauce- Iris in an almost annoyed voice said “No, it does not come with a sauce”. Puzzled we asked for a menu, which Iris brought and also responded- “ I’ll bet you a dollar I’m right”. Is this the way to talk to a customer? The menu did describe it as sautéed- this was just a dried chicken cutlet. After telling Iris she said she would talk to Joe the cook! Another family member had the pork chop special which was over cooked! This entire evening was a huge disappointment! I would not go backMore

After hearing a number of good things about the restaurant we decided to give it another try (our last visit was 2017) Bad idea Our waitress Iris was beyond rude the restaurant was very busy and she did tell us our food would take long....I guess she wasn’t kidding we were there two hours We were four in our party Half of the meals were good the others were salty and so so Wasn’t worth the wait or the ride to the middle of no whereMore

Good service at first but when the restaurant got crowded it took quite a while to get attention. Food was good but not great. We were generally happy with the meal but wouldn't go back.

Great food in the middle of no where as their commercial says! Steak was perfect! Special was great!

Friendly staff and awesome food. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. A place to go out to eat or just to hang out with friends.
