Would almost always take out of town visitors here and they almost always loved it too. Service isn't too fast and at times was really slow but normally was ok depending on what you ordered. Loved their shrimp po boy, salmon po boy (periodic special), fried yams, okra, and tomato sandwiches (and the grilled cheese want bad either). Also a... More

This place a really an old shack that is full of all kinds of stuff. The food is GREAT and the atmosphere is really funky. Be sure to try their slushies and take home some locally grown tomatoes!

The is place has some of the best food you can eat there or take it to go. All of their stuff used to make the food is always fresh. They have some of the best hamburgers around Vicksburg.

Positively the friendliest two ladies we have ever met in our lives. An intriguing concept. we did not get to sample the menu but we did buy a few items...and some tomatoes of course! We did hear that the double cheeseburger is to die for. Will definitely stop in for the eats next time we are in the area. Apparently,... More

Got the BLT and fried yams and a strawberry n cherry smoothie. All was delicious. The building doesn't look like much but the food is very good. Seating is odd and not many places to sit. But that why I liked it bc it's so unique.

On a recent move from Dallas to Atlanta, my son and I ventured off of I-20 and onto Hwy. 61 for a stretch-our-legs lunch stop. After almost 400 miles in a U-Haul truck, The Tomato Patch was a welcomed relief. As others have said, this is a quaint little market and restaurant rolled into one. We are from the Deep... More

A girlfriend and I checked the Tomato Place out a few months ago, and we enjoyed it so much that this time through Vicksberg with a large group of friends, I made sure we went back to visit Mallory again! To walk into this place and see all the fresh produce, including the beautiful homegrown tomatoes, out front is enticement... More

The food was EXCELLENT! Produce was expensive! I'm all for local produce but $15 for a watermelon... I cannot afford that! Staff was a little scattered. We couldn't get a immediate idea of what the layout/ ordering/ serving. I'm not saying UNFRIENDLY just not attentive. Defiantly a local place and we were expected to know what was going on. Place... I'm putting this in the 1 star because this is mainly where people read to actually judge. So here goes. Yes I'm from Vicksburg where this is located. As you can tell from the pictures, IT IS NOT ROOMY. Obviously. It's not a big business. It's a small restaurant with some damn good food. Yes there is no air conditioning.... More
