Very nice atmosphere. Food was good. Wish they had calorie counts on the menu. Had the Chicken Avocado and it was a nice sandwich. Fruit cup with it was not very tasty. Went for a quick lunch but the service was not very fast. Long...More

We heard a lot about this place so decided to go there before leaving town; it’s a really cool set up, good location and atmosphere. The food was good, not great, the beer was good, not great, I was expecting a lot more.

I had fish and chips and it had way too much batter. But there were 12 of us and all eleven others in the party had superb food and couldn't have been happier. Next time I'll order a different entree because I know all other...More

Brew pubs seem to be all the rage, and it is getting hard for one to stand out from the crowd, but Moerlein Lager House made a good try. Every brew pub seems to have something that detracts ... this time it was the hop-phobic...More

Stopped for lunch. Perfect downtown location. Views were nice with windows all around, the food and beer were delicious. We had two young children and a stroller and they were very accommodating.

There is a parking garage under/adjacent to. Make sure you park in section A as that will take you right up next to the lager house.

As long as you can get the private room and it's an appropriate size for your group, yes absolutely. The main restaurant can get noisy.

Description
The heritage of Cincinnati's storied brewing history comes alive along the banks of the Ohio River at this world-class restaurant and brewery. Prominently situated in the dynamic Smale Riverfront Park, the Moerlein Lager House offers a guest experience unlike any other—a working microbrewery producing a full line of Moerlein craft brews, and delectable fare featuring grain spent breads, hand-carved sandwiches, and smoked rotisserie meats… foods reminiscent of those served in the city’s celebrated 19th century beer gardens.
