Based on TA reviews I suggested that we have our business update discussion over a meal at Barresi's. We were not disappointed. The room has a old world feel to it. Charming and relaxed at the same time. Friendly and efficient service. And the food just outstanding. We shared the calamari for our opening round - perfectly cooked. I had... More

We enjoyed our first meal here, a coworker had suggested it as the best Italian restaurant in Cincinnati. The food was delicious and freshly made. The zippoli bread basket that they bring out is the most delicious kind of bread I have had and I would come back just for that! The food was very good, portions are reasonable and... More

Excellent traditional Italian meals can be had here. They have very thin sliced and tasty veal. They had lasagna as a special and it really melted in my mouth. The bread is fried and is delicious. They also offer Italian beer and numerous wines.

We decided to give this place another try after seeing it on OpenTable. We had not been there for 15 years or so. The restaurant is not easy to find, it is on a side street, a few miles south of the Kenwood Towne Centre. The decor could use an update. Food is very good, much better than any Italian... More

The staff is friendly. The waiter was nice but it was obvious he had little experience with knowing how to present a cocktail. The appetizer was good. The entrees were small for the price. Take a sweater, the place is cool in temperature. Just not as polish as it used to be. You had to ask for a side of... More

Staff was attentive and worked hard to serve. The food tasted good but the portions were on the small side for the price. Not a good value!

The food at Barresi's is good, but prices are high and the menu has changed to a la carte. They do offer the old options, but only if you ask for it. Our server was friendly and attentive. I was impressed that they had no problems when my 2 year old was running around, but they did have us in... More

Valentine's Eve was cold and icy, but we had dinner reservations and decided to venture out. That turned out to be a great decision. We dined in a small room lined with mirrors. The atmosphere there was perfect for the evening. The veal dishes were outstanding, the service attentive and the basket of warm zeppoles as delicious as always. The... More

The food and service are excellent. It IS pricey, but the preparations are beautifully done, the wine list is very nice and the staff professionally friendly and attentive. Their pasta is perfect.

We went to Baressi's after moving back to Cincinnati and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. Great food, good Italian wine, and a wonderful cheesecake to top it all off. The delicious warm bread pockets are enough to keep this restaurant on your list!

In the heart of Deer Park, a Cincinnati Suburb just west of Kenwood, resides a treasure. Barresi's has been a local landmark for years and has grown from six tables in a cafe-like setting to twenty-eight linen draped tables. Barresi's is beloved by its patrons for its authentic Italian cuisine; a blend of tastes from the southern olive oil region near Calabria, and the northern city of Genoa.

The extensive menu offers something for every palate, from traditional Italian pastas, a delicious variety of fresh seafood, to signature veal and beef entrees. Each dish is carefully prepared, using old family recipes, and the result is a taste that defies description. Generous portions satisfy even the heartiest of appetites and every meal is accompanied by our famous Zeppoles. Service is meticulous and unobtrusive and the seasoned staff is dedicated to creating a unique dining experience. Patrons return to Barresi's for special occasions, holidays, or simply to indulge themselves with an incredible meal. Classical flavors combined with flawless service ensure that you and your guests will enjoy your evening with us.
