We stopped by based on really good reviews. The menu seems authentic and we liked how there’s a screen that shows what some of the items look like. We had black pepper beef, braised tofu, General Tso’s chicken, zhhachiang noodles, and pot stickers. The chicken...had good flavor but had too much breading - but it’s really just an Americanized dish so I wasn’t expecting too much. The potstickers were just ok. The noodles, beef, and tofu were amazing!! I would go back just for those dishes and to try new ones too. The service was great. The lady even put our leftovers nicely into to go containers and bags nicely to make sure the delicious sauces wouldn’t spill on the way home. I would definitely recommend this place!More

We had to use take-out, but I have dined in several times. The food is excellent, and you can get authentic Chinese dishes there as well as "American Chinese". I have been to China dozens of times so I appreciate the authenticity.

I absolutely love this place. There's a huge variety of food, and you can order from an authentic Chinese menu or a more Americanized menu. Do yourself a favor and get the mapo tofu! It's the absolute best I've ever had!

4pm on a Sunday ..... no way to get to the menu/website. It keeps sending us to a New York City oriental site. There doesn't seem to be an up & operating website! Also likes to try to send you to delivery services .... we...are less than 5 minutes away & want to pick-up .... no luck ....not waiting in the rain & cold!More

I ordered the lunch special fried rice and was only given chicken fried rice but I was charged extra because I asked for extra chicken and extra egg. I went to class at Cincinnati State and when I came back after class was over I...brought it to their attention and they told me that I was wrong and that there was shrimp and pork in there and that I must have eaten it all. Then admitted that they didn't give me the house special that they gave me a dinner portion of chicken fried rice which basically added up to a whole bunch of extra rice not what I requested.More

You can order Americanized dishes or from the Sichuan menu. I'm a wimp when it comes to spice, but I loved the dry chili fish fillets. Definitely hot for us but manageable. Eggplant with garlic is excellent. Since COVID, doing takeout only.

Our friends recommended this place and it was very busy for dinner. My wife ordered cold sesame noodles with a peanut sauce and the vegetarian delight, which she liked very much. I ordered the hot and sour soup which was very tasty, vegetarian egg rolls...and curry chicken, which came with white rice. The service was very good and the portions were rather large. There is a menu for more authentic Chinese dishes and a more Americanized Chinese food version.More

A few people in my office order take out from Sichuan Chili often. I decided to try it. I was pleasantly surprised. I got the lunch portion of Sichuan Chicken with very lite spice. It was very good (a little salty for my liking). The...portion size is very generous. 2 people can split the meal easily. I would recommend trying it out. The lunch hours end at 2:30pm.More

We randomly chose to go here, and it didn't disappoint. We enjoyed the crab rangoon, Spicy Sizzling Lamb (so tender!), Boiled Chicken (plenty to share!), and Red Dried Chili Fish (crispy goodness!). Level 2 & 3 spice was a little too much for us, but...they can adjust that. There is a lot to choose from on the 2 menus (Sichuan/red, American/white). If you can't find something here you like, that is surprising! I can't wait to go here again!More

Fast friendly service. Menu had many good options, from typical chinese american fare to more unique and authentic menu items. We enjoyed it.

Sichuan Chili shares a small building near the Northland Ice Rink and is very unassuming on the exterior. We were taken there by friends and I am not sure I would have gone there without a recommendation as it can easily be overlooked. When we...arrived at about 5:00 on a Friday it was already full and there was about a 20 minute wait spilling out of the entry. The wait was worth it! Once seated the service was fast and it did not take long to get our food which was spicy and delicious. If you are looking for authentic Sichuan Chinese food, this is the place.More

This is a moderately priced, down to earth restaurant with great Sichuan Chinese dishes. My family and I visit there at least 2-3 times a month. Our favorite dishes are - Red dry Chili fish fry, stir fried green beans, eggplant with garlic sauce, Mongolian...beef, double boiled Chicken, dumplings in garlic sauce, Mapu Tofu (with or without ground pork), Yangchow fried rice. There are a few more from their special Menu. I also like the sizzling lamb, though that sets off a coughing fit in the whole restaurant. There are two Menus - Red which is more authentic and more spicy and White which has milder dishes. I have honestly never ordered from the white menu. The food tends to be a little oily - trick is not to consume the gravy/oil. I find the service fast and great, the staff is typically smiling and attentive - even the first time we went.More

We have been here a number of times and we have never been disappointed. We have always ordered off the authentic side of the menu as we love spicy food. Our favorites are Mala Chicken, Bo-Bo Chicken and Sichuan Chicken with Green Pepper. I lived...off of the Mala Chicken when I was pregnant (so delicious)! If you like spicy food, try this spot and order off the authentic menu. We have not had a bad meal here and everything we've tried has been fantastic!More

Had lunch there this week -prices are very reasonable for large portions of well-prepared food. I love hot and sour soup, but their’s was a miss for me with too much salt and too much black pepper. Chicken and broccoli was loaded with perfectly cooked...broccoli with a side of good fried rice. Wish they had “real” mustard instead of the packets - will go again.More
