We enjoyed our breakfast and the restaurant style. Relatively inexpensive but good home cooking style.

My wife and mother in law was wanting coffee. They both really liked the coffee - as good or better than dunkin or others.

I was staying in the Hilton so just a short walk down the stairs from the lobby to the arcade. Its an old style diner. The breakfast was ok and good they left a coffee pot on the table but I guess it says something when I went elsewhere for the next 2 mornings.

Good selection of food, really good French toast. Staff are really nice, sometimes a bit hap hazard but it added to it.

Try the Goeta. It's quite good! This is a nice little diner and the food is good. Service was a bit slow so build in a few extra minutes if you are planning around other activities.

Having eaten here before we were looking forward to a return visit. Apparently somebody didn't show up for work on the day we went. Our food sat at the pick up window while the two servers delivered other orders. My Reuben was missing the thousand island dressing. There were gnats/fruit flies buzzing about. According to the specials board, it was... More

After searching for somewhere in downtown Cincy with biscuits and gravy we came upon this little diner. The service was ok, the food seemed to take more time than needed and wasn't piping hot once we got it. Fair prices for breakfast for comfort food though.

I had lunch here during a business trip, and found the food to be good but very standard for diner fare - it truly felt like the menu had not changed in 60+ years aside from the prices. Specifically, this is an old-school lunch counter layout within the Carew tower, with booths and counter seating. My meal (Club sandwich, fries,... More

Whenever I've come to Cincinnati from KY on my own, I normally stop at Hathaways for lunch. I love the retro atmosphere, and the food is good. Unfortunately, the last two times I've been there within the last two months, I've been disappointed in the service, especially the most recent visit. First of all, Google has their hours incorrectly, they... More

It's not an easy place to find unless you know about it - good thing. Hathaway's isn't a fancy 5 star type of restaurant. It's a place to have a great lunch - soup, sandwich, salad, etc. Or just a cup of coffee. The atmosphere takes you back to the fifties, sixties - and it's authentic.
