Ask for Joe! This grill is identified as 2 different places, it is also listed as Old Faithful General Store. These fun folks serve real burgers that are tasty! There is a nostalgic dime store counter where you can sit or you can gather at tables. Other grills in the area do not hold a candle to the atmosphere here!

We really enjoyed our lunch at the counter here! Our server Joe was friendly and fun to chat with. The burger and fries were good and the shakes were just the right thickness! Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend and we'll definitely be back!

You'll love having a little meal at this spot. It's a nice stroll from old faithful Inn. It's full of souvenirs and other items to purchase.

Total tourist trap - but so much fun!!! Give the kiddos $20 and let them go crazy!!. That arrowhead or leather belt will live for years as reminders of their trip.

Best Diner in the Geyser Basin............The only diner in the Geyser Basin. Thoroughly hacked off with the poor food offering at the Old Faithful Inn Dining Room, we though we'd try this diner for breakfast. So glad we did, we ate here twice. Standard breakfast fare is on offer, cooked fast and fresh. All complimented by prompt, friendly and welcoming... More

Do You realize this is the same as the lower basin store? We went to the upper store aka the old faithful general store seeking grilled cheese sandwiches. Formerly I praised that location for its frozen healthy sweet earth brand burritos but could not find them in the case anymore. In the grill, the items seemed limited and high priced.... More

We decided to stop in to get some lunch while we waited for Old Faithful to erupt. It is the perfect waiting spot. The history on the walls was interesting to read while our food was being prepared. A monitor keeps you updated on the eruption time so you won't miss it. The food was delicious. We enjoyed our hamburgers... More

When visiting the Old Faithful area, breakfast at the Lower Store is a must for the best breakfast in Yellowstone! Many choices, including great flapjacks.

Evening meal and breakfast. The menu has a nice choice of fountain foods, a tasty chicken, buffalo type sandwich with fresh fries and a heaping dose of blue cheese dressing on the side. Breakfast menu was what most would seek. Service was fast, very cordial, with light banter. The staff in the upper store recommended this gem. They were right.... More

We did a walk thru of the place to avoid getting caught in the rain. It is a very nice store with great souvenirs, a little on the expensive side like everything at Yellowstone. It also features an old fashioned dinette with spinning stools mounted to the floor. It was a nice place to visit. Didn't cost anything to look.
