The Roosevelt Lodge is in a great location in the park. Just wish the Xanterra corporation would improve their foods' taste. They have great potential with items like bison burgers, bison tamales, biscuits and gravy, etc. We had the hiker's special for breakfast a couple of times. It was a good basic breakfast (eggs, toast, hash browns, bacon). Their pancakes... More

The Roosevelt Lodge building is a charming historic log structure. The staff is very friendly and extremely attentive. The food is expensive and pretty average, but the setting compensates.

Not to knock this place, but the food was as good as school cafeteria food. I'm not a foodie, but it could be a bit better. The menu looks good on paper. You can't go wrong with French fries.

There were a lot of flies inside whenever we went. There weren't many bugs outside, but a lot of flies inside that swarmed you when your food arrived. Food was okay, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here.

during our August 2016 visit, we had breakfast as well as dinner here at this place and frankly, we like it. Considering this place is the most remote in the YNP, we found food to be a good quality and reasonable in price. We also stayed at the lodge so, this was convenient for us as well.

We ate here during our 4 day Yellowstone stay. We had an early dinner after a Stagecoach tour. The ribs were fall off the bone good and were definitely a food highlight during our Yellowstone stay! The beans were good as were the mashed potatoes and the side salad was very large. The dining area does not seat many, so... More

We enjoyed a nice late afternoon meal of BBQ ribs. You get plenty to eat and it is not that expensive considering you are in the park. Nice to sit on the rocking chairs on the deck before and after eating and sharing stories with other travelers. Nice atmosphere also.

We dined here one evening while staying at the Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel. The drive from Mammoth was just 18 miles---took about 35 minutes or so and was beautiful. We had the ribs, enchilada, and a chicken dish. The food was good...not great but better than I had at Canyon. The 1/2 serving of ribs was way too much. I... More

Had later reservations, but arrived early, and ate in the bar area, same menu as the restaurant, food was good, it's more about the atmosphere. The head hostess at the dining room was real nasty, when I asked if we could be seated early. Big turn off. The Staff in the bar dining area was ver nice and attentive.
