We walked past this place and were drawn into the bar at the sight of lounge areas with pillows and repeat episodes of friends on tv. Add a beer into the mix and we had the most chilled out afternoon. Didn't have any food so can't comment on that but the view from the other end of the bar didn't... More

Sat down to enjoy a "massive burger" as stated on the menu. This soon turned to disappointment as if came out to be a tiny, greasy slice of meat inbetween a large dry bun whilst accompanied with oily fries! My partner had the spaghetti bolognaise which turned out to be a child's portion of macaroni with a drizzle of tomato... More

We ask for a royal burger that stated had a massive beef. We both know we are in southeast Asia and you can't be picky when you order western food but this was ridiculous. The "beef" was an square sheet of meat that looked like those cheese sheets you see in sandwiches. And the taste was really greasy and not-very-fresh... More

This restaurant is open air, but it is covered with a roof. The restaurant is quite big and has a lot of space with few spots providing a view on the river. You can sit in a booth a little bit higher up, but you have to sit on the ground. Food was good and their menu just has it... More

We visited this establishment once, only it to us not discovering it until near the end of our stay in Vang Vieng. It wasn't too busy so we got a good spot in front of the screens and had a few cocktails. They were very big, tasty and well priced. All boxes ticked.

After falling sick in Vang Vieng, Otherside had the jacket potato of dreams. They've got easy food like pizza etc, as well as local dishes and shakes. Had a lovely dinner here and went back for breakfast too. Decent.

Nice place for lazy days and/or resting after tubing. Like all the neighbor restaurants, they have friends playing non stop. The food is good. Lao standard. I liked the tofu noodle soup, but expect a sodium bomb! For those who don't care about watching tv, they have tables in the back with the prettiest view!

One of the few restaurants in the city that has Friends playing non-stop (even during breakfast!), this is a great place to chill out and watch some TV while having a beer and a meal. Good food, good price, and friendly (but sometimes hard to flag down) staff. In between the "rasta" bars - perfect location. You can sit in... More

We simply ordered a few currys to warm us up during the freak cold days this year, and this place did exactly what we were looking for. Cheap, decent meal whilst watching a bit of friends to pass the time.
