I'd read fantastic reviews online and so I had high hopes for this restaurant and have to say I was slightly disappointed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, however the food itself (I had potato and chicken curry) lacked flavour.

This is one of several good restaurants situated along the road that runs behind the hotels at Ngapali Bay. We ate grilled red snapper and barracuda, and whilst the barracuda was very good we found the red snapper rather disappointing. The staff were however lovely and I would be happy to return and give the restaurant another chance.

Just opposite the Sandoway Resort entrance (the Italian F&B manager at the Resort eats here!) is a well established (18 years) restaurant run by two generations of the same family Spotlessly clean. . Seafood is so fresh and excellent - we ate barracuda, snapper and tiger prawns on 4 separate occasions during our stay - fantastic! Good choice of local... More

We loved our first night at Mingalaba that we returned to same restaurant 2nd night. Amazing Barracuda Fillet and Snapper and the Avocado Salad is devine. Thoroughly enjoyed with a beautifully chilled bottle of red wine. Thank you so much for making our meals so enjoyable and we loved our little deserts that were given at the end. Can not... More

This restaurant is a definite must if you are in Ngapali area. It is a family run business and it looks like each family member has their own share of responsibility in running it. We have been greeted by a lovely young lady and served by a young men- both impeccably polite and hospitable. After our dinner, the table was... More

We ate in this restaurant 3 times during our recent stay on Ngapali Beach. The atmosphere was excellent, and the staff were very friendly in this family run restaurant. The locally sourced fresh fish was cooked to perfection.

This swiftly became our favourite restaurant on Ngapali beach. Not only is the food here *really* great but the family who run are absolutely charming. We ate so much good food here that it's kinda hard to select particular meals but I guess that the pork with tea leaf curry was the one that I liked best. This hotel is... More

Simply the best. Great well cooked food and excellent friendly service. Tried several restaurants but this was definitely the best because the food is always fresh and tasty. The best food we had in Myanmar.
