Absolutely lovely little restaurant right on the beach. The atmosphere is so inviting and you can hear and see the ocean waves cracking through the open "walls." The music was perfectly chosen. The food was excellent. I really enjoyed the sweet potato wedges and the beef stew. There was a sign outside warning of being under staffed and that service... More

Sometimes, I like to sit back, relax, a cold apple cider in hand, good tucker (food), good music, and hear the waves crashing on the sea shore. That's what Drifters Beach Cafe is all about, and, I and my Thai partner have been there many times. The food from the snacks, to the Aussie meat pies and sausage rolls, to... More

Visiting Jomtien requires a visit to Drifters for a jug of margaritas. The jug is great value at Baht 650 and extra ice can be added to keep it cold. Try it.

This remains one of the best little secrets on the coast. A real get away from it all bar where you can really believe you are on a desert island. Always a welcome from the Aussie owner, Tony. This is a lively early doors crowd especially on a Friday. Always room for another. Well worth a visit

Came here for a nice dinner by the beach. The menu had a variety of weird imported beers and ciders. The food was pretty damn decent and not too expensive. The decor was laid back with a hippy stoner atmosphere. After the dinner the staff were nice enough to to help out when our car got stuck in the sand.... More

Fantastic sunset views. Great pizza and cold beer. Great hideaway for a relaxing drink at sunset. Prices are ok too.

A casual beach side restaurant with an unbeatable atmosphere, the sound of the sea, some fine music, spectacular sunsets, tasty wood fired pizzas, Italian food, Aussie pies, tasty snacks and the friendly service to match. The building is open sided with great beach views but safe and dry if you dine through a summer storm. The friendly competent staff get... More

We have visited drifters on several occasions. The guy who owns it is Australian and lives with his Thai wife. The Italian food is to die for especially the potatoes skins and the nachos with jalapeños. You can watch the sunset whilst eating your meal as it's situated on the beach overlooking the sea. It's a little bit more expensive,... More
