We visited on the way to Pukaki and Tekapo from Queenstown. Really fantastic Indian food. Great value for money. Very friendly staff. Be careful. Spicy is really hot. Loved it. Will return

A quaint little Indian restaurant set back off the main road. We always come here when we're in Wanaka. The food tastes great and the prices are very reasonable.

Popped into this place on a whim one night and it exceeded all my expectations! Great service, the food was amazing, especially the saag (the best I've ever had), and the prices are very reasonable! I had to come back again the day after to get some more. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Most Indian restaurants in Wanaka are close to each other. This restaurant is not very visible but is a cosy little place. We ordered dal makhani, 2 paneer dishes, butter chicken and nans. All dishes were quite tasty made perfectly to Indian taste. Nans were just outstanding, this type rarity even in India. Personalised fast service and reasonably priced. Popular... More

Originally I wanted to try the supposedly best restaurant in Wanaka tonight, but it was closed due to a private function. So, in the mist of eateries. The sign stating Best curry in a hurry came across my line of sight. Granted, I had to walk passed the little Sagun Cafe twice before deciding to venture inside. Yes, it does... More

Cozy, casual and secluded from the busy main street; Sagun treated us to authentic food, friendly people, and a relaxed atmosphere.

I've eaten a lot of Indian food and this place is great. They make proper Indian food at a reasonable price, they are friendly and do a quick service. When I'm in wanaka I always go here.

As we live in Lake Hawea this is our goto place for a delicious Indian 😎 The chefs are awesome and able to provide vegan dishes. Many are gluten free also. I have not had a yellow daal like this since I was in India! The saag aloo was awesome and both dishes were a great medium hotness. Big thank... More
