Chotiwale originally is in Rishikesh only and after you cross Ramjhula and little upward you go there are 2 outlets . Run by brothers both are genuine and no other branches of them are in existence as claimed by Haridwār and other places Chotiwale. Food is ok , not that good as you expect it to be . Expensive vegetarian food and not that exclusive taste that you
May get in Chotiwale . Too much of ready made Masala being used instead of making in your own to give a special flavor like Kareems in Delhi or so on .

Its a very old eating joint of haridwar Ganga ghat,and rishikesh.a brand name,u used to get a rich big veg thali.now menu is modified with time and all India varieties including Chinese.place not that clean but always crowded with pilgrims, food quality is good,and rates are on upper side as per infrastructure, main attraction for young and old is, a fat takla pandit with Dhoti fully make up done like clown with his long choti stiff pointing sky,sits on high seat at entrance of hotel,ringing big brass bell in between to attract passing pilgrims. Its like a mascot, a live logo

Heard a lot of this restaurant at Rishikesh but not up to mark. Normal meals, not very clean restaurant. Menu has variety of dishes catering to various types of people. Interesting is the live plump Chotiwala person sitting at entrance where people click pictures with him. Overall good for quick bite

we a group of 45 people visited with prior reservations for lunch, still then we had a waiting for more than a hour (its ok since it was a peak season can accept), we all were asked to sit without offering water for next 30 minutes, later unlimited Thali (being the signature dish) was served, where we had to beg for Phulkas only additional 2 phulkas were served ,which were served very very slowly, No other item was circulated or served, The Guest had to leave the restaurant Half filled. No person to cater to the needs of the customer. Even the Manager/ Owner seating on the Counter was arrogant and did not extend any service to the customer.

Good food, generous portions and probably the best Lime soda mix I have had so far.
The waiter was a bit slow in the beginning. The food came fast and all was good.
The prices are also very good.

Delicious Food, Good services ,cleanliness and atmosphere also good
. This restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide list and wonderful . I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.

I heard a lot about food of this place. I visited the Choti Wala near police Chowki. Food was not good. Usually I don’t review about food as I have not considered myself expert in this area. But I don’t like the service and taste of food at this place.

We visited Chotiwala for a quick decent meal.
One of the oldest restaurants in haridwar. The food was good and it wasn't very expensive.
Food came out fast .Not bad for the price.
