The food was greasy and the service quite unprofessional. The waitress didn't know the menu or what was available and we go served a can with mould on it. Would not recommend.

Confusion! Yesterday we were at the Atong Kamalig, near the sea and the pier. The place is popular with a nice ambience. We ordered Sizzling Sisig and Sizzling Squid. Sizzling Sisig is a traditional Filipino dish which is made of chopped pig's head parts (e.g. face, snout, cheeks, and ear) and chicken liver, usually served in a sizzling platter garnished... More

Someone recommended this resto. Good thing we went. Everything we ordered were yummy. Especially the Kinilaw na Tuna sa gata. (Tuna Ceviche in coconut milk)

They serve good food - chicken inato, beef pochero, chopsuey, pancit. One thing we don't like is their pork sisig, it's 70 to 80% pork fat. We hope that they'll do something about it. This restaurant is till must try when in Dumaguete!

I'm a big fan of Chicken Inato, and Atong Kamalig does it very well. They serve a lot of it, so it's always fresh off the grill. A side of rice and a cold San Miguel - makes for a great meal.

While the ambience was nice and cozy, the food was priced more than it's value. We had the seafood medley which was nicely seasoned and the right kind of spicy, but the pork ribs were hard and difficult to eat. It felt like they just re-served it because it didn't sell out completely. The vegetables were very mushy to some... More

There is always a large verity of Philippine food available, fried chicken wings are available as well. the staff is friendly and mostly efficient. prices are right. The only unfortunate thing is there seem to be too many motorcycles with no mufflers passing about 4 pm in the evening.

Always a good place to eat, there is a fairly large menu to choose from, the staff is always friendly, the prices are reasonable. the only draw back is of course the motorcycles with no mufflers, this makes it hard to have any conversations. Happy hour starts at 2PM until 6.

The best and most reasonably priced Filapino food in town. Open air with lots of seating. The staff is friendly the service is fast and accurate. The only problem is the same as all over the city, motorcycles with no mufflers or modified mufflers racing by. And for some reason the city has posted no parking signs along the street... More
