A place you need to try if you ever come down to Lamèque, food taste really good, prices are ok, and employees are nice. Place is known for their garlic fingers which are delicious.

Maybe I’m biased because I’m originally from the Acadian Peninsula, but a lot of us agree that they have delicious poutines and garlic fingers! I finally made it back to this area and had to stop in and as usual wasn’t disappointed. I have to...say that when I was waiting for my takeout order, I noticed that the manager is very hands on and helps to ensure that our orders are served up in a timely manner. This restaurant is a busy spot and there’s good reason for that. I may live 3 hours away but it’ll always be a restaurant I’ll stop in at when I make it back to this area!More

A restaurant for regulars and tourists which can be very busy depending on the time of the day. Nothing fancy here, just good food, I recommend the seafood pizza which has lobster, fish etc. One orders and then waits for your number to be called,...soft drinks are self serve and as much as you want, this place is unlicensed. While there is an Irving gas station across the street, look past that onto the Baie des chaleurs and great sunsets.More

The best place to grab garlic fingers in the Shippagan area. Their donair sauce is something special too, very fluffy but delicious.

I ate here on April 6th, 2013. Disregard the review that says this restaurant doesn't exist...it is open and called Restaurant Familial au p'tit mousse. We were in town for a hockey tournament and ate here twice. The first night, we were in a banquet...room in the basement and had a pizza buffett. The pizza was okay, and the make-it-yourself poutine was wonderful, but I didn't think it was worth $12 per adult. On April 7th, we headed back to this restaurant for lunch between games. Friends traveling with us ordered the fish & chips, which is apparently their specialty. The fish was cod, and was very strong in smell and in flavor. I ordered a homemade vegetable soup. Very disappointing! It had no flavor whatsoever, but the homemade roll that accompanied it was awesome. We found the service to be okay, as far as wait time, but the food itself was sub-par. It's not glamorous dining by any means, as you wait for your receipt number to be called so you can pick your order up on a cafeteria tray. We left the restaurant and went to Subway...at least the quality is always the same and you know what you are getting, lol!More
