After some very bad and mediocre meals in the Sibillini Mountains we found La Marchigiana. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. A warm welcome and we were allowed to choose our table. It is a big restaurant spread over several rooms. It was Monday night - usually a quiet night in this area and the place was nicely... More

You must eat there for a genuine gastronomic experience, with excellent service. And they love kids, including our very "terrible two-year old"--the waitresses response to his throwing bread at her: " dammi un bacio"

Antipasti ok, good papardelle with wild boar sugo. But the lady at the cash desk charged €10 cover charge...for lunch...2 adults, 2 children?? Could it be because we're not from these parts?

La Marchigianna was a good dining experience. We were able to find a good bottle of local wine and they had a bean dish that was outstanding. Service was elegant and welcoming. Check out the website: http://www.la-marchigiana.it/restaurant.php

I went to this restaurant with two friends. On a Tuesday afternoon when Everything was closed. EVERYTHING. We just wanted to check La Marchigiana out to see if they were closed too. NOT ! open, full, bustling, great food, good atmosphere. Fantastic. Good wine, About 20 Euros for more than you could eat. Even the liver was great, and I... More

We chose this restaurant for a final blow out after a great 2 weeks in Italy. Our friends had been several times before having a holiday home in the area. We spend 2 very satisfying hours consuming 4 courses of great Italian food. We wanted to enjoy all the courses without the unnecessary expense (and wastage) of ordering a portion... More

The decor may not be the most sophisticated (pink and green walls and some very dodgy artwork!) but the food here is terrific. The pastas - esp the wild boar ragu with tagliatelle - are fantastic as are the generous portions of grilled meats. We tend to skip the antipasti as otherwise we just can't manage the meat but we...
