I was referred here on my first night in Piedmont, by my host in La Morra. It turned out to be a very fine choice. Appetizers included tartare, sliced Italian ham, cabbage stuffed with ground meat and herbs. Next course was tartufo blanco--thin egg pasta and shaved white ruffle atop. Amazing fresh and full of flavor. So much shaved white... More

Sober atmosphere (the lighting could be a Little warmer) but good Food of above-average Quality. 4 Standard Antipasti and then one primo and a secondo or Dessert and we spent Euro 45/head incl. 2 bottles of wine. we were there also in the summer and had a lovely table outside; Service is very friendly.

We had a mid day appointment to review the wines of Burlotto. It was late and after the tasting we needed lunch. We were provided this place as a nice option. We walked around the corner and they were able to seat us even tho it was past 2:30pm. There was a three course menu. I had the mushroom risotto... More

We went there because of a friend's recommendation. The meal was great. 7 courses and espresso at the end for 37€. 2 pasta options and 2 meat entree options. Fun friendly rustic setting with many locals. I found the website hard to navigate for a non Italian speaker. I would highly recommend for anyone visiting in the Barolo/La Morra area

Fresh ingredients, simple recipes and great taste, there is not much more you can ask. The meat appetizer was superb and the pasta dish wonderful (I even asked for the recipe). If to that you add that we spent only 27 euros in two, then the choice for your next meal should be quite easy

The informal atmosphere combined with friendly yet professional staff would have made our visit worthwhile even with ok food. But the food was also outstanding - traditional dishes delicately served. We ended up visiting this place three days in a row, and were equally impressed each time. Especially the antipasti was fantastic (and also different every day). We easily give... More

If you are in the area, plan to stop here for lunch or dinner. Eating in Italy as it is supposed to be. For those with (younger) kids, the little playground is safe, within sight and will allow you to enjoy your meal even more!
