Most sensible restaurant managers/owners/waiters would see that a dish returned uneaten, that was very much not to the liking of a customer (2 customers in this case) be removed from the bill and/or some form of compensatory free drink/coffee be offered to smooth troubled waters. The staff of this restaurant poured petrol on the fires of discontent instead - charged... More

It was the last night of our holiday in Italy and we decided to treat ourselves to a characteristic local restaurant in the centre of Martina Franca where we had stayed for 3 days. After our starters my son ordered a pizza and enjoyed it. I ordered a main course of some sort (not memorable hence it must have been... More

The location is promising, tucked into the corner of a square near the main Church. Staff very young and a little out of their depth. Three of us offered a table which would have had space issues for two. Refused. Alternative table offered with a shrug. Limited drinks list on a sweaty Summer's evening. Tut, tut. Artisan beer 'Nora' was... More

We shared several dishes for lunch and everything was very good, we especially liked the mussel dish, the pasta dishes and the grilled veggies. Service was prompt and they were very nice finding us a shaded table on the patio. Pretty crowded. Nice area with views of the beautiful town buildings.

My wife and I highly recommend this restaurant, in a town you ought not to miss if you are in Puglia. You should certainly ask to speak to Roberto, whose family has owned this trattoria for many years. He is young, but his international experience has well-equipped him to please a new generation of diners. His knowledge of local wines... More

A great place! Food was really terrific with generous portions. Reasonable prices. House wine accented the meal. Service was also very good. Waiter was very attentive and courteous. Would highly recommend for couples or a group.

The owner and staff are always very welcoming and the food on offer while generally fairly simple is very good representative of the local cuisine

A lovely refuge from summer rain under the arcade in this marvellous city. Frankly, there is no need to order more than the starter dishes for a filling and delicious lunch. Cured meats, cheeses, including burratta of the creamiest and tastiest quality. When the big pizzas came our big kid's eyes popped out. Other main course, regional dishes excellent. Slightly... My wife and I spent an afternoon in Martina Franca after striking out on booking a wine tasting in the area. Seemingly everything in the Puglia region is closed during lunch time (yes, even the restaurants at 1 PM) and do not reopen until 5 or 6 PM. This restaurant was empty (although the one next to it was packed)... More

We ventured out for lunch and on entering we were the only ones there. Just wanting pasta we ordered 2 plates and a bottle of water. 26 euros. To add insult to injury another couple came in and the waiter offered them the same food as ours. Ours was served and 2 minutes later so was theirs. Clearly by the... More
