Went on a very blustery day for a business lunch There was a lovely welcoming fire and a friendly staff. Menu has something for everyone as well as daily specials. Portions were generous and well prepared. Could tell that a lot of the ingredients were...More

Sincere apologies for that whole night. The wait was unacceptable and so was your order coming out incomplete. We got backed up with orders that night and so we will aim to improve this in future so it doesn't happen again. I would like to...More

Only called in for a lunchtime drink, but stayed for more. Traditional bar and 3 other rooms, with good selection of beer, and outside area overlooking the bay. Only had bar snacks, so cannot comment on restaurant.

Ate here twice last week and enjoyed the Gluten free special of the day. Really nice to see GF advertised outside on the Chalk board made us walk in. Busheys bitter was great and the resturant took us back in time. Very relaxed dining.

best service in the isle of man but very average food. burger could be sold out of a van but our young waitress (think she was fairly new to the job) was excellent.

This place is fantastic. Great beer, try their unique IPA, it's pretty much Bushey's brewery tap. And the food is fabulous too, good honest top quality pub grub with a bit of a gourmet twist, and generous portions, well cooked, and at a reasonable price...More

There's nowhere to land at the hotel: it's on a narrow no through road that leads to the harbour and the hill rises steeply behind. You might get permission to land a small helicopter at Port Erin harbour but it's usually... More

Hello, I'm sorry to say we are only a restaurant with a pub, we've not been a hotel for over 30 years now. We're sorry to disappoint. Marcel

Description
The Bay Hotel is a traditional real ale pub and restaurant. We offer a great range of real ales including our 4 regular bitters brewed by the local Bushy's brewery as well as seasonal English guest ales. We also offer a wide range of whisky, wines and spirits, including a lovely range of popular rums. We serve homemade, delicious food using mainly local produce. It is served 7 days a week with your choice of eating in the restaurant part with a lovely table service or in the bar side. There's also the outside decking seating area for the warm months. We are a small business and we always aim to please and welcome our customers as that is our main priority. We are dog friendly too, so for those with a well behaved four legged friend, you are more than welcome to visit our bar area, whether it is for a great local pint of bitter or just a cup of coffee, the choice is yours.
