Perhaps it is because I am quite discerning before I go through any door that I nearly always receive a high standard of fish and chips. The Port Erin Chippy is no exception. The dining room is light and airy and nicely decorated. The servers are pleasant and cheerful. And finally, the food is a delight! Recommended.

Went here on my lunch break. Fast service and very tasty food. Also do lunch time specials which are good value.

Fish and Chips are not oily and very tasty. Batter is crispy and really good. Staff are friendly and polite. It is good value for money.

If the chips in a fish and chip shop are anaemic and dry, as is often the case here, you need to go elsewhere. The gulls liked them though.

Sorry to hear you didn't like our chips. As you state you often visit - On your next visit all you have to do is simply ask the fryer for well done chips, we would be more than happy to cook them longer for you, if you do prefer your chips well done or cooked longer than what the average... More

We have been in the restaurant and had a takeaway. One might think a little bit dear for Chip shop. But I would strongly disagree knowing the prices on the Isle of Man this is good value for money.
