We had haddock and chips with salad sitting at the window looking out onto the harbour. The fish was fresh and well cooked and everything tasted good. The waitress was really friendly and efficient despite the cafe being really busy. The menu is quite comprehensive and everything is cooked to order. Definitely worth another visit.

Arrived at 11.30 and looked longingly at the breakfast being finished by the next table. We ordered a panini and club sandwich and were not disappointed. Well presented with lots of extras and lovely salad which was not overdressed. Good coffee too!

For a good lunch at very reasonable price and conveniently situated on the frontage of the harbour area, this is the place to go. Popular place so can get busy.

Food turned up and looked nice, but half of my wife's meal was freezing cold. We mentioned it to the staff member who just 'oh' with no apology. The food came back had clearly been microwaved as the pie had gone all flat and soggy.

My husband and I ate here several times during our long weekend in Tarbert. The restaurant was very comfortable to sit in, with staff who were attentive but also knew when to let you sit and talk (i.e. they did not try to rush you out the door the moment you finished eating). We had baked tatties with smoked salmon... More

We were looking for somewhere in Tarbert for a reasonably quick evening meal and happened to park opposite this cheerful cafe. It was very busy (always a good sign) and turned out to be a nice, warm, welcoming place with extremely good food at competitive prices. Hope to visit again.
