I went today with my sister, who lives local but had never been in before. The food and service were excellent, we both had the large breakfast and a drink and toast, which only cost £10 for both. We will definetly be recommending to family and friends.

Called in for a cuppa and a sausage bap. I was served by a lovely young lady, very polite and helpful, she even did the cooking as well as the serving. Food was simple, no frills, but very tasty, excellent value for money. Will be back soon for a full fry-up.

Good breakfast choices and all come with a huge mug of tea or coffee. Great for the family as little one is a bit choosy

Friendly staff, reasonably priced traditional cafe food. Good for families. Handily placed in the centre, and a good alternative to macdonalds.

great food here, could do with a jazzing up in the seating area as a little run down, the male waiter couldn't do enough for us and made a real effort with my children, very happy

Absolutely lovely food and always freshly cooked. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Cheaper than other places in the town. Highly recommended!

I have been twice for breakfast, once while extremely hungover and it certainly did the trick! The second time we went in with the kids. The woman working appeared to be the only staff member doing all the work (though there was a gentleman who popped in and out doing a bit here and there) so while it wasn't busy... More

This rather old fashioned café does an excellent fried breakfast at a cheap price. The staff were friendly, the service quick and as it is so busy, it is clearly popular with the locals. There is plenty of choice on the menu but you get exactly what you pay for, it isn't a restaurant so don't expect it to be.
