The quality of food in the restaurant is superb - however it is important to book in advance. The interior decor is interesting with one of the waiting rooms very cosy with a fire place and wide-ranging books on various topics from travel to cookery. The 3 course dinner was approximately £40 each - but the experience and the ambiance... More

I live in the neighbouring town of Prestatyn. If I want a real treat, this is the place for me! First of all the house itself is of historical interest and the interior is cosy yet regal. The open fire in the lounge area is a lovely touch. This is where our canapés were served alongside some wine which we... More

Myself, my Wife and our thirteen year old Son visited this lovely restaurant on a Sunday for lunch. The house and gardens are very nice. We were greeted by the lovely owner who took our order. A short time later she showed us into the main dining room to a lovely table overlooking the front garden. We all had the... More

Dined over weekend 13/5. Comfit of duck with whisky and orange sauce was amazing. It is difficult to do justice to David's excellent breakfast the following morning. This is a restaurant with rooms, The listed building dates from 1672, and has been lovingly restored by David and Elvira. My wife and I were lucky to be able to stay for... More

We had drinks in front of a real fire while Elvira read out the choices on the menu, our 3 course was freshly made and was of generous portions while being well presented. David's bread and butter pudding is not to pass on nor his cheesecake which is just heavenly,we felt spoilt and full as we left our table to have... More

A little Gem on the outskirts of Tyn Rhyl. We found the place lovely and peaceful and the Owners a lovely couple, and we will be back.

Surrounded by commercial premises you could well miss this place just driving by but once through the gated driveway you can hardly believe you are in Rhyl when you see the impressive old manor house. We enjoyed a pre dinner drink and canapes in a comfortable lounge with a real fire burning in an old fireplace with fantastic wooden surround.... More
