Great flavors. Fresh toppings. Crafted sauce. Wood fired thin crust. Best of all, unique to the valley. There are some good places around Invermere, but this place - just 5 minutes out of Invermere in Windermere - beats them all. It’s also attached to a fresh market (where they must get all of their fresh toppings from). We’ve been coming out here for 20 years (from Calgary) for a summer vacation and have tried most of the pies. The Hot Spot will be the one we stop at from now on. An aside - they’ll also do half and half’s, which many places discourage.

I try to stop in at Hopkins every week or so to pick up some fresh veggies, specialty foods and delicious pizza. I have always received exceptional service from all staff members. The last few months have been difficult for most people and they are doing a great job with the new protocols. Keep up the good work guys! Cheers!

Great local produce combined with the best pizza in the valley. It can get busy but the wait is totally worth it.

Some great selections of fruit, local and provincial produce and unique foods (sausage, cheese, pies, etc) that one would find a farmers market. Nothing however is free and you pay dearly for the freshness and unique selection.

Fantastic home made pizza experience - The whole family and I have loved the Hot Spot pizza and salad experience; but this weekend I called and talked to Kirsten (?) and arranged for take out frozen pizza dough, meats, and sauce to make it at home on my Traeger wood fired grill with Dare-built 3/8” pizza steel... OMG this turned out wonderful ; especially with the specialty garlic/onion/chilli and olive oil sauce! Highly recommend Hot Spot and Hopkins Harvest to anyone wanting quality food or fixins!

Hopkins Harvest is another victim of COVID, with long lines, poor customer service, overpriced product and a long list of rules that customers are expected to follow. Upon entering the market there is a sign listing the rules which customers must abide by - the first being “rudeness to staff will not be tolerated”. But apparently rudeness by staff, and specifically by Kerstan (one of the owners), towards paying customers is quite alright. The last item on the list is “STAY HEALTHY. STAY SAFE. STAY HOME”. Next time I will not stay home but I will definitely stay away from this business. And NO KERSTAN, yelling “Are you ignoring me” and “Do we have a problem” at paying customers is NOT alright. And yes, I was trying to ignore you because I was already talking to your store manager before you started yelling at us with no explanation. We recently stopped at Hopkins specifically to buy Dutchman Dairy milk. When you return the washed bottles to the store you normally receive a $1 refund per bottle. We have done this in the past numerous times after hand washing the bottles or running them through our dishwasher, including in the last 3 months. Our last two experiences have been very different. The first time they refused to refund the deposit fee , the cashier said it was because there was milk reside around the lip of the bottle. We rewashed it and tried again. The second time they refused because there was a very slight milky film inside the bottle and they said BECAUSE OF COVID the inside of the bottles had to be absolutely spotless. They reassured us the Dutchman Dairy does indeed wash and sanitize the bottles before refilling them but COVID is COVID and rules must be followed. And all the while none of the staff we could see were wearing masks or gloves while interacting with customers or while handling products in the store. By the time Kerstan stopped challenging us, we were more than happy to pay $40 for four 994 ml bottles of milk, 6 peaches, and one head of garlic, just to get out of the store and away from her. (Did I have a problem with you Kerstan? Yes I did. You are a very scary person when you lean over a counter and get a little too close for comfort. Your store manager did her very best to explain an inconsistent and illogical store policy. She did her best to defuse the situation and I felt handled us well. You on the other hand were confrontational and intimidating.) I will never return to this store and will recommend to everyone I know that they not patronize this establishment. There are numerous other businesses in the area that sell Dutchman Dairy milk, peaches and garlic for lower prices and who treat their clients like valued customers - including Sobey’s in Invermere and The Market in Radium. If Hopkins no longer wants to accept bottles for refund, then clearly make it a store policy and add it to the extensive list of rules you expect your customers to meekly follow.

So many great reviews, of course had to stop in. Amazing market Pizza side staff are rough around the edge and over the top rude. Pizza is great though, if you overlook the staff

We stopped here for lunch at around noon. Great location, right on Kootenay Hwy (Hwy 93). There are two entrances to the building, one is to the restaurant “The Hotspot” and the other entrance is to the market. The restaurant had a few tables inside and few in the patio. All pizzas are 14”. You have the option to order two different pizzas, half and half. We ordered half “Saporita” and half “Meat Meats Meat”, both are their signature pizza. The place was not very busy when we ordered but the tables quickly filled up. The wood fired pizzas were one of the best pizzas I have had in a long time, specially loved the Saporita. The thin crust was excellent and all ingredients were fresh. Our server was friendly and efficient. Service was quick. The interior of the place may be nothing fancy. A very simple and effective set up and the pizzas were amazing. Would love to eat here again if I am back in Windermere. We later bought ice creams from the market and they tasted great as well.

Quick weekend getaway to Invermere found us looking for a late lunch and we really lucked out! Pizzas were so tasty with outstanding thin crusts. Topping it all off with a fantastic selection of local craft beers. We almost went back the second day, but that would be weird, right? Don't hesitate to eat here!

My family and I stopped last min for a quick dinner. It was quick and the pizza was amazing! We just oerdered the specials, one pizza to share but it was so good and we ate it so fast we had to order another one. We will be coming here everytime we come to the Valley.

My husband and I found this gem for a lite dinner and a few beers on their patio. Crust to toppings ratio was perfect (and was even great cold the next day as leftovers)
