The food was mediocre at best, we did not get what we ordered or paid for. What we did get was of MUCH lower quality than we were used to.

We ordered Salmon with veggies and risotto, the salmon was OK but there was no risotto in the take out order. Instead there was a double amount of veggies that were previously frozen and overcooked. Limp overcooked carrots, one brussel spout and two small potatoes...with some pepper strips. I tried to call the restaurant but no one answered. I ordered chicken parmesan with penne and asked for fettucini instead. The chicken was dry and overcooked, the fettucinni sauce was weak and lacked butter or cream or cheese or garlic, something was missing as it tasted like milk and flour. I used to order take out from the previous owner and felt guilty about only tipping 25% as the food was so wonderful. Georgetown needs a good restaurant, I hope you can take the time to improve the quality of your food. We missed the lovely lemon cookies always included in the take out order.More

We previously enjoyed this fine dining Italian Restaurant many times and then there was a change in ownership. We were craving some good pasta and we’re completely disappointed. We placed our order online for a pre determined pickup time. The online ordering system was very...specific which we appreciated that drilled down to the temperature rating of the food. My partner had ordered a $40 entree of Lamb and selected medium rare with a side of pasta. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo. The lamp was well done and inedible and the side was wrong giving potatoes and veg when we asked for the penne. My fettuccine was unlike I have ever experienced. Normally a fettuccine has a creamy sauce. This was like water. Don’t waste your hard earned money. The owner kept making excuses when it was brought to his attention. What they advertise and what they deliver are two very different experiences. And it’s not cheap so there is a certain expectation. Just good food and what we ordered.More

Pandemic measures are not being taken here. Upon arriving no one met us or asked for our proof of vaccination or ID. At some point, a clipboard was given to us to record our contact details but it was never retrieved and passed along to...the other diners. Service was not good. The waiter, who was very quiet and seemed uncomfortable in his role, did not even know what the soup of the day was and had to go ask. One of our party ordered 2 appetizers requesting one be served as their main but both came with all the appetizers. We ordered a bottle of wine which was brought and just plunked down on the table unopened for us to pour ourselves. The appetizer dishes were not cleared even after the mains arrived. Pasta orders were barely warm and the pasta was over cooked. Prices are in line with fine ding but service and quality of food do not justify it. The owners need to try harder because there's much better restaurants around that they need to measure up to. Can't see myself dining here again.More

I read a lot of good reviews about this place so we decided to try it, really wish I hadn't. We had reservations but when we got there the tables weren't ready, we had to push 3 tables tables together. We sat down and were...brought the menus but the gentleman did not ask us for our drink order, he came over about 15 minutes later to ask if we were ready to order. The pasta was terrible, overcooked and no flavor. The sauce tasted like water, I had drowned it in parmesan and that still didn't help, the food was so disappointing. The gentleman working was very nice but he didn't do anything unless we asked. It seemed like a very sad place, old menus falling apart, it was quiet and uncomfortable. I'm really surprised about the positive reviews, I don't know if people know what authentic Italian cuisine should taste like but this isn't it based on my meal. Its overpriced for the quality of food, not worth it.More

this is our second time for dinner at the Bridgewood, we went February 15th as the 14 is usually always busy everywhere LOL..and again they make the most perfect meal. I had the House Spaghetti, and OMG it was heavenly, it was a cream sauce...with maple bacon, grilled chicken, very moist and spinach..again very generous portions, so I had it for lunch the next day. Hubby had the Lasagna, I had it last time and raved so much he had to have it LOL..and yes it lived up to its rave. This is my most favourite restaurant in the area . Told hubby for my birthday I want another dinner at the Bridgewood. I had the creme Brulee for dessert and he has the Tiramisu .I also started with the French Onion soup, love that they have lots of onions, some places barely have any in the soup..hubby had the wedding soup and he said it was wonderful. Looking forward to another meal ...More

Just finished dinner for our daughters 22nd birthday. Can’t say enough great things about this place. It is a small and quaint place. Staff were so friendly. Food was fabulous. We had calamari prime rib house spaghetti and steak linguini as well as turtle cheesecake...for dessert. We loved every bite and every minute of our fabulous night. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place.More

I've never written a bad review for a restaurant (as I was a server for years), but I felt this was a must. My partner and I came here for Valentine's Day - we made our reservation for 8:30pm 2 weeks prior. Our table wasn't...ready when we arrived (however this only took a few miutes). Once we were seated, it took 15 minutes for our drink order to be taken. 10 minutes after ordering a bottle of wine (9:05pm), our server brought it over and placed it on the table already opened (there was no uncorking or wine presentation). 10 minutes later our order was finally taken, we ordered the Beef Tenderloin ($45) and Veal Parm ($30). At 9:25pm our server came to our table and said that our order didn't go through because of a glitch in the machine. Meanwhile every single table around us had gotten their food - a table of 4, and multiple tables of 2 that came in 30 - 45 minutes after us. The server said that the kitchen was backed up because of Valentine's day. (Fair, but why is every other table getting their food, and why do you continue to seat people when the service AND kitchen can't keep up to any sort of good experience). At 9:45 I asked the server if there would be any compensation for the wait - she said "I can give you 10% off, or 20%, or a glass of wine, or a dessert or something, whatever fits your needs). At 10:00pm we received our food - which at the same time the server said "we will be giving you 10% off." My partner said we expected a more compassionate compensation after sitting for 1.5 hours with no food. She said the most they could do is 20%. Our food was less than good. I asked for salt, waited more than 5 minutes and did not receive it. I had to call over another waitress, and finally got salt for a very bland tasting meal. All in all, an overpriced ($115.00 after the 20% off) and very poor experience for our Valentines Day.More

Just had anotehr excellent meal here - lunch this time. Called ahead to make a 1 pm reservation - critical this time of year, and in such a small space! Arrived at 12:58 and the table was waiting. We appreciated the fact that they did...not try to squeeze in a 12 pm "we'll be really quick" table, that inevitably leaves you waiting!! We decided to go with a special - chicken club sandwich with a side salad - both were delicious! The waitress was lovely, ad I htink it was the towner who also cam eout to see how things were. Another yummy experience - try this place - you won't regret it!More
