We were here last night. After what felt like hours walking on a windy beach with three children a mom walking near by recommended this spot. When we walked in the two big ones tried to get on the swings at the bar. The waitress gently ushered us to a table next to the kids section. Which sat in a... More

Very barish and not fancy at all. We were here quite early for lunch. Very, very fresh fish fried whole to our liking. Great to see the fish come in piled on a fishing rod.

This was one of our favorite bars. We heard the food was good, but never ate there. Bartenders were real good and this place was uncrowded. It's a lil out of the way, so i'm assuming that's y it doesn't get the tourist foot traffic. But it's better that way. Def go check it out. Margarita Zapata was great. Beers... More

There was live music, too, when I was there. There were quite a few families with small children, and some of those kids run... More

The arrachera (flank steak) from Viva Zapata was pretty much the greatest thing I ate during my entire Mexico vacation. Watch out for mosquitos, though!

We loved Viva Zapata and visited several times during our trip for both lunch and supper. The restaurant is in a wonderful location on a side street in the heart of town. It has a wonderful atmosphere including a bar that serves up one of the best margaritas on the island! I love that Viva Zapata has an open grill... More
