Nice little mexicain restaurant located a bloc from the beach. We had lunch there and it was very good :) We had guacamole, pico de gallo and a pescado frito.

Sooooo good, we kept coming back (late lunches, early diners)... Las Panchas is all about the fish. It's fresh (stand on the beach ½ block down the street each morning, and you'll see fishermen bringing their catch straight to the restaurant), it's tasty, it's simple, and it's good! This is not fine dining. This is where you go to have... More

Amazing food, wish we ate there more than once. Fiancee got his chicken finger fix (so tasty and definitely fresh) and I had the most amazing lobster tacos, yum!!

Our hotel told us to go here and we were less than thrilled with our experience. We had fish tacos which were ok but our waitress tried to bring us 3 orders (each order has 3 tacos!) when we had made it clear we wanted ONE order of 3 tacos. She was clearly not pleased and kept trying to get... More

Delicious dishes without trying hard this place is authentic and high quality. This is how they should all be. Nice waiters who know about the menu items and actually check in on you. Only wish they took credit cards and didn't close between breakfast and lunch (or was it between lunch and dinner) That was too bad as I was... More

We were welcomed into this very busy family run restaurant. The food was excellent, well priced and the Shrimp Cocktail was enough for 2-3 people. Once we found this restaurant we returned many times during our 2 week stay on Holbox. It is very close to the shore.......great for taking sunset pictures with your family

We ate here quite often during our stay at Holbox. It was by far the best seafood we had in the island. The place is closed between 11 and 13 after which they start serving lunch. The seafood stew (caldo de mariscos) with shrimp, octopus and lobster was fantastic! Also had the shrimp, shrimp cocktails and fried fish, all great!... More

Good eats for cheap are definitely to be found here!! It's a great place to immerse yourself in the local vibe and community. Having said that, we visited on a Saturday for early lunch and thought we'd never get service. We even had locals with us, but it was as if we were being ignored while everyone around us was... If you're looking for seafood, this is the place to go. We had the mixed ceviche and fried lobster tacos, and both were excellent...probably the best food we had throughout our stay in Holbox. Service is not the quickest, so be sure to be polite, yet assertive in making your order and asking for the check.

A very simple ambiance but the food is really nice. Very good prices, good service and fresh food. Normally busy and I by late afternoon they close. I am not that easy to please but we visited several times and were never disappointed...
