We were recommended this farmhouse restaurant by the owner of the local cottage we were staying in, so booked (essential) for a Saturday evening. The place is obviously very popular with locals and the atmosphere was very good. There's minimal choice of menu, but the food was well prepared and plentiful, and the drinks (included in the set price) free-flowing.... More

After visiting this area regularly for the past year, and having tried all the good restaurants in Hesdin, we finally got around to visiting for lunch, as recommended to us by locals. We are so glad we did. You need to book in advance, but I literally rang an hour before lunchtime and we were given a warm welcome -... More

Have eaten here on a number of occasions. The environment is warm and welcoming and the owners extremely courteous and obliging. Food is fantastic and you benefit from the all inclusive drinks included in your payment for the service provided. On one of our visits I became very unwell and we had to leave due to my illness. The owners... More

We have been going here for several years. It cannot be bettered as Country restaurant offering traditional French food. Make sure you are hungry when you go - there are always five or six courses plus canapés. Three aperitifs are always offered and left on the table until you have had your fill and both white and red wine are... More

I cannot believe that I have holidayed near here for 21 years and I have only just discovered this jewel of French cuisine. I endorse everything that has been said. We went as 4 adults and 2 children and the host could not have been more welcoming. You need to book, there is no choice which I like because it... More

We have been here many times and it is always enjoyable. The whole experience from the welcome to the fair wells is a must, but please note that there is no choice of menu so if you have special dietary needs it is well worth asking them beforehand. The food is always excellent and something special, this time we had... More

We were taken here yesterday to celebrate our 50th birthdays by my mum and her partner who have dined here before. They were nervous about taking us, worried because there was no menu to chose from, a new experience for us. They need not have worried as the entire evening - welcome, table, service, food and drinks - were all... More

Hélène and Rodrigue are the perfect hosts. If you have not been here, you are missing a truly French gastronomic treat in a truly country style. The converted farmhouse is a real dining experience. There is only one menu. You eat what is served today unless you are a vegetarian or have special dietary needs which you must specify in... More

The one off price of 32€ includes (home made) apéritifs, nibbles, starter, soup, main course, cheese, dessert and coffee. And as much wine and bottled water as you can drink!... More
