We decided to hire a car for two days to drive around Efate (this would be my absolute number 1 must do when on Efate as you see so much when you can just stop wherever you want to as opposed to doing a tour)...More

Tuna sashimi, tuna sashimi, tuna sashimi. Do not visit here WITHOUT having a few plates of the tuna sashimi. It. Is. To. Die. For. We also tried the seafood chowder. Can't comment on the rest of the menu, as we gorged ourselves on tuna sashimi.

Open 7 days for lunch, this venue is a favourite of locals and tourists looking to get out of Port Vila. Wahoo Bar is right on the water's edge at Havannah Harbour. Renowned for its fresh local seafood, prawn curry and Vanuatu's largest hamburgers, the restaurant has great views and outside seating. Visitors can swim and snorkel on site and the venue is child friendly. The Wahoo Bar is also open for sunset drinks every night and the sunsets can be quite amazing. The restaurant will stay open for dinner but prior reservations must be made.
