Excellent food, plenty of cuisine available on top of Malaysian like Thai, Indian etc, clean and tidy environment, impressive food ordering process. You won't feel you are eating inside a food court.

Food cooked by locals, different cuisines ranging from Thai, Indian, Thai, Chinese, Western etc so delicious and cheap. We ate there every night (7 nights). Every night we couldn't pass on the home made Spring Rolls and Satays for entrees. Every meal was delicious and nicely cooked and presented. Would highly recommend it. Great fruit juice and icy cold beer.

Fantastic place to eat. Great variety. Only wish they were open earlier & at lunchtime too! With small kids 5.30 sometimes a little later is a bit late but that's our fault for having kids!

Well priced food, good atmosphere. Beef is generally tough - suggest chicken or seafood. No satays until 7pm. For better food at higher price, try Helena Cafe down the road past Park Royal.

We ate in the Long Beach Cafe for 10days and still never got bored. There was always something different to eat. Pancake station was really nice and everything was so cheap. This place is alway busy and packed and food is made hot. My husband fell ill whilst he was in India and was so careful what he ate. This... More

This Food Hawkers Centre is full of food choices and full of customers-have eaten here numerous times-my favourite is the North Indian place in the far right hand corner-a chicken dish, veg dish, plain rice, plain naan all for 21MYR and it tastes great. The Centre itself is just a big canteen-sit at a table, remember its number, order your food from the various stalls&give... More

We last visited Penang and this hawkers 'restaurant' more than 9 years ago! It is still as good as we remembered it! After walking around trying to decide what to have we chose the Indian (right hand corner as you look in) we had a kashmiri curry and a lamb curry with cashew nuts, some onion bhaji and nan and... There are certainly enough options to suit every taste here! From Chinese, Indian, Malay and Thai , to pizza and western. The setting is 'rough and ready' to be polite, with plastic chairs and tables under a tin roof with fans. Hygiene is questionable but overall the place is well populated with tourists, and very very cheap! We ate Indian... More

We have been to Penang 10 times and this was our first visit to Long Beach after being recommended by guests we sat next to at our hotel pool. The experience was exactly as they described - very clean, very inexpensive and a great variety of food (semi open-air food court with around 15 different hawker-style eateries to choose from).... We spent 4 glorious days in Penang and stayed at a hotel in Batu Ferringhi. As we like to try out local eateries when we go away, on the first night we tried Long Beach Cafe, and we were pleasantly surprised! The place was filled with tourists which indicated it was good. The food was incredible, freshly prepared and brought... More

Description
Long Beach is a collection of street stalls surrounding the sitting area. It is located outside and offers many cuisines including Malaysian. In the area there are not so many restaurants offering Malay food so I thought it appropiate to add this 'restaurant' to the listings, although most would probably not class it as a conventional one!
