I got a casado, which is a typical costa rican plate, for only $5usd. The flavor was pretty decent, but the french fries were a bit soggy though.

We have eaten here twice now. The portions are hugh. I had the fish casado so delicious. I love that they include salad and vegetables. Plus beans potatoes and rice. My husband had the pork chop also well prepared. With a beer and soda the bill came to $14. We will be back plus they were all so sweet

We waited an hour to get our food. We ordered three chicken sandwiches and a burger. The burger came out rock hard, one sandwich was without a chicken. Fries were greasy and cold. We were overcharged on the bill. We spoke fluent Spanish to the waitress and yet it was a disaster.

By far the best soda in the area. The portions are generous, menu has variety and service is friendly. Being on the corner is great for people watching, but be careful that the dust from the road doesn't get in your food!! Great for lunch. It wasn't opened at 7:30 for breakfast when I stopped by.

This is a great soda with huge meals and small prices - we had two full casados and two (non-alcoholic) drinks for just less than 7500 colones! It is in the centre of town and I would definitely recommend if you want a cheap but filling meal!

I enjoyed the meal. Nice peaceful restaurant. Staff is friendly. Food was good and price as well. I ordered the special which was pork ribs. I was with a fellow Canadian, a Swede, and a German. We all ordered different meals and we're all pleased with our meals.

They get it. Good food, good prices, makes a stay here nutritious and affordable. Great variety, had many a meal here. Good coffee stop in the AM, consistent family owned place for a basic meal.
