We went here for the first time with friends who had been there before. At first we thought it was closed, but good thing for us it wasn't. The service is very slow, but we have found that to be true in most Panamanian restaurants. However, that gave us time to enjoy the restaurant's ambiance. There is a stream running... More

We were on a bus tour (12 of us) and our guide called in our orders ahead of time so there was little waiting. I had the sea bass as did several others and all agreed it was delicious. But the best part was the cafe itself- open air, koi pond by the table, turtle pond, and just so Unique!... More

This is one of the most unique restaurants I've ever been to. It has a large stream running through the restaurant filled with fish and turtles. I found it by accident 3 years ago and have been back many times. The service is slow and the pastas are avoidable, but the fish is very good. Plus, the ambiance is so... More

We have eaten at Rincon twice in the last month. The grounds are pleasant. The staff is acceptable. There are ponds inside the restaurant with Koi and turtles. The food is not good, though the fried ceviche is interesting. It is extremely warm inside the restaurant, and if you can find a ceiling fan directly over your table it helps... More

Casa de Lourdes is a beautiful property, and the alfresco dining area is very romantic. The service was excellent and prompt. The menu is kept to several dishes for each course which is nice as I really don't like huge menus with endless choices. Each dish looks tasty and delicious. I was a little disappointed with my main when it... More

We were the only guests on this weekday evening. The typical Panama food is better at many small restaurants. Only cool thing was the large frogs in the ponds out front which we hadn't heard in other spots in our travels.

A real find off the beaten path. We didn't stay at the hotel, but had a great meal at the restaurant. The indoor restaurant has a beautiful koi pool with turtles right next to many of the dining room table. The ceviche, hojaldres, and platanos maduros were great. Reasonable prices.

We walked into the Rincon Vallero with some apprehension. It had a gloomy feeling and was nearly empty. We had a hard time finding any staff. I foolishly ordered the seafood pasta. The seafood had a very strong odor as if it had been sitting around for too long. I debated whether I should eat it, but hunger got the... More

the service is a little slow, but i love the food, and the staff is very helpful. We ordered corvina al ajillo(gish fillets in garlic butter), pollo en salsa de hongos(chicken with mushroom sauce) and corvina a la plancha(grilled fish). Try to order panamanian food, its the best in this rest., the breakfast is the best part of my stayed... More

The place was almost empty and seemed a little abandonned when we went in. Yet we were served efficiently. The dining room is really nice (apart from a kid watching TV with loud sound). the food is authentic with good quality overall. We had fish with garlic and it was delish. Generous plates, reasonable prices.
