A crook boss who doesn't pay his employees and squeezes them like lemons. Do they have the possibility to defend themselves? No if it's only black.

This place must be great in season, but for a third week in September, staying open in the evening is already an achievement given the number of customers, the welcome is nevertheless very friendly, but the options on the restaurant menu are very limited and not always up to the idyllic setting of Lake Matemale, we wish a lot of courage to the new management, we will come back in the summer, because quite honestly if the chef gets into the kitchen and with good regional products, it should be serious, so see you soon....

In peak season! Yep a bit crowded but a service that knows how to adapt...good value for money for the BBQ part, nice portion and quality. Meat grilled over embers and not over a flame: well done! Beautiful place ! We came back the next day but at 1:15 p.m. no place: normal...arrive early or later..

The concept has changed and that is a shame. The establishment has become a kind of self-service. Everyone gets up to order or collect their food at several places according to the choices (drinks at the bar, hot food elsewhere, salads still elsewhere...) In hot dish we had the choice between grilled chicken legs or sausage + merguez or pork chop. Nothing wrong with the quality of the meat that was good. (We took sausage merguez at 16€ and a children's menu 3 nuggets with fries for 10€ drink and dessert not included in the Award) Level it looks like what can be found ready in mass distribution (I took a Caesar salad for 12€) rates are high but the property is well located with its beautiful lake view. I imagine that the location is expensive and that it must be profitable. What really breaks the mood is the constant movement around the tables caused by customers coming and going to collect their orders. You can also add the grill corner smoke that tends to invade the terrace on windy days. I don't think we'll go back, not seduced by the concept.

We had come in September 2023 several times in the evening (at the end of the season which justified the few choices) we came back as a family on a Wednesday evening (tapas evening so to speak) what a disappointment for a rather pleasant site to dine in this place of very poor qualities of supermarket food and a very "cool Baba" welcome that looks more like a meeting of old friends of the 68s than a restaurant service, Saul the rates that they are rather expensive for this type of canteen even pink wine (screwed cork) is like the rest. We will not talk about the self-service lunch which is like the evening very very very limit and just presentable (the salads "cesar " Even in vacuum packaging, are more expensive at LiDDLE... but at 4 € each) Too bad for this beautiful site.

Great spot in summer and winter! Reception and quality of dishes at the top! And this Sunday brunch... madness... with family or friends, a real pleasure!

Nice restaurant at the foot of the lake. Good food and average service. We went with 5 children and it seems that it was not a restaurant for families to go to. Expensive for the amount of food, you will pay for the location and views. Recommended to go as a couple.

Having been regulars at the nautical base for several years, we regularly stopped by for a drink at the l'Ourson bar or to eat there because the staff was pleasant. What was our surprise to see that there were no more services. We have to go to the bar to order and collect our drinks. Personnel savings obviously not reflected in the price. Frankly, the leaders are lucky to have the monopoly because we would have gone elsewhere.

What a pity ! Long-time regulars of this restaurant, ideally located in a dream setting, we were happy to have lunch there with family. That it was not our disappointment to discover a “change of concept” like “Les Halles”. Step number one: make your way with great difficulty to find a table, dirty the table of course the objective is no longer quality but to sell a maximum number of place settings per minute. Step 2: queue to order and pay for your drinks to bring back to the table yourself. Step 3: order from the dishes still available what you can find to your taste, knowing that the choice is limited. Step 4: when the bell rings, go and collect your tray but don’t forget your cutlery: it’s up to you to set the table! There you will have the joy of finding yourself with a plate of Gauls! The quantity is nothing to say, even Cromagnon would find something to suit it. In short, it’s no longer a restaurant. A canteen with big food. What a shame once again.

We have been coming every year for 10 years, this evening as usual, as at the end of each stay, we are going to eat a teddy bear ice cream in the evening. This evening we arrive there, people look at us but no one comes to see us. After 5 minutes of waiting we say we are coming for a drink and an ice cream. The waitress looks at us strangely and calls another waiter under her breath and says, “It’s for ice cream.” The waiter takes us out, taking us for idiots “we don’t have ice cream”. For a regular and especially for a restaurant not having ice cream is taking people for fools. I won't come back again, too bad for you.

Lots of people, you have to arrive early or wait a little to get a table. Good choice of grills. Relaxed setting on the shores of Matemale Lake. Better I imagine outside peak periods, but still nice for August 15th.
