We are visiting Rhodes in slow season so most of the restaurants and shops are closed. This Koukos is so close to our hotel so we had dinner here on the night we arrived. The food was good and reasonably priced. Portion is big. I had the veal liver which comes in 4 palm size pieces. I also like they put two chilies in their Greek salad. We also ordered a bottle of red wine only costed 20 Euros. Overall very good and authentic.

Simply loved this place in the new part of rhodos town.
Attentive Good Staff,. Classy furtinture (benches on the patio are good for people spotting while sipping a drink) and good menu options. Very decent portions with fabulous taste. Price average to a bit higher. But worth it!
They offer a good breakfast on the terrace aswell and the bakery store has a great variety of fresh sandwiches (also take away)
DJ with nice lounge music, not to loud adds up to the admosphere
Evenings can be popluar so better to reserve.
Restaurant is also popular among locals which for us is a good sign

A Greek acquaintance took me to this restaurant and the food was so delicious that I returned a few times on my own. Every fish, appetizer or salad I ordered was a delight for my senses and the wines I tried were lovely. They also make a good espresso.
The service was perfect: very attentive, even when things were busy, and never obsequious. They let me sit and write for a few hours at a time when I was alone. The staff always made me feel cared for and I always left this restaurant feeling much better than when I had arrived, not just because of the food but because of the atmosphere.

Sadly I have to recommend going somewhere else if you’re hungry as it’s not the first time we’ve waited over half hour for food to arrive (after waiting 15 minutes for order to be taken). Both occasions the restaurant was only a third full with about 5 staff waiting tables.
If you’re happy to wait then you won’t be too disappointed as the food is good.

Staying here was perfect, it’s in a great location in the new town of Rodos but very close to walk to the beach and old town. The staff were really polite and accommodating, you don’t feel as though you’re asking for too much. The food was delicious and the portions are large but if you’re hungry you’re not complaining! :)
Rooms were lovely, clean and covid safe. Complimentary drink upon arrival and fresh fruit in the room throughout our stay. I’d return to stay here again and would definitely recommend them to others wanting to stay in a beautiful hotel within a great location. Plenty of shops around for anything you may need.

Visited late October after passing it many evenings and it was always busy.
Was seated at a table in the rear garden area which was probably the nicest area of the restaurant, even better than the outside seating area at the front.
The menu was a little hard to follow, it was a bit jumbled up, but eventually opted for the Moussaka and the Lamb Cooked In a Wood Fired oven with a side of fried potatoes (chips!) and garlic pitta breads.
The food itself was nice enough, the lamb was beautiful and tender and just fell off the bone. The Moussaka was also very nice as was the garlic pitta breads.
The fried potatoes (chips) did not arrive with my food and it was a good 5 mins before a waiter came back out and I had to ask for them as it looked like they had been forgotten. When they came, they were bang average, a bit limp and not crispy as I would expect.
The other issue I had was that the bill was delivered to my table with the main course which I found odd as I may have wanted to order another drink or a dessert but didn't get that option.
I suggest only deliver the bill when the customer actually asks for it !
All in all, decent meal, let down slightly by the service.

Having stopped here based on a recommendation from our hotel to have lunch, we where very impressed with the setting and location, the Greek salad was excellent with a slightly different twist. Upon returning here for dinner without reservation we asked for a table, it was extremely busy however the staff did say they could accommodate us. We where asked to scan our vaccination QR which did not work so we where seated outside and asked to wait for table. During this time we where given menus and after 30+ minutes of waiting we gave up and ordered food to the very small outside table. The food firstly came in phases meaning I had finished my meal before my husband. The staff where uncoordinated and didn’t seem to have any idea what was going on. This time the salad came missing the feta, served again far from the same standard as lunch which was disappointing. Upon finishing the food we where asked to move to our tablet 1hr later. Would avoid coming at peak times and especially without a reservation.

Just returned from a lovely holiday in Ixia, Rhodes. On our first visit to Rhodes town we found this amazing restaurant and guesthouse.
Right from the moment we arrived we were treated like regulars, a warm welcoming smile and amazing service from start to finish.
The place is decorated in a traditional Greek style and the attention to detail is amazing. I can also say that it’s the cleanest place I found in the resort.
Now for the food!
Our first visit was lunchtime so we opted for the chicken club sandwich. Can honestly say they do not compromise on either portions or quality. It was absolutely delicious and I was barely able to eat half of it before becoming too full to finish it all.
We decided we needed a second visit a couple of days later. This time we had the hot and cold appetisers with meats as a starter, followed by the special pizza. We only got one of each to share and again were not disappointed. The portions where huge and the quality was amazing. Also once again the service was excellent.
We couldn’t end our holiday without a third visit. Upon arrival we were greeted like old friends and thanked for choosing to dine with them again. This time we opted for the oven baked potato with cream cheese, which was huge and delicious, accompanied by the pork chops and chicken pieces. Both outstanding quality and great portions. Made even better by the quality and professional service from every staff member.
We were so impressed with this place and the staff that we asked for a card to contact them to book a room in the attached guesthouse which is equally as beautiful as the restaurant. We are eagerly awaiting our next visit.

This place is hidden in the narrow street, 15 minutes walking distance from Rhodes Old Town. Nice outside tables. We had, greek salad, chicken gyros and moussaka. I had several moussakas before that one but I think this was number 1 from my perspective. Prices are little bit higher than in the Restaurants outside the City but this is quite popular place and serving food in good value for money. Nice wines as well. Excellent service.

Our only disappointing meal in Rhodes. We had seen the restaurant last year and were looking forward to going this year. We booked a table a couple of nights before and asked to be on the terrace but when we arrived we were shown inside. It is very attractive so we were quite happy but we're very disappointed by the quite surly waiter and they brought our main. Course before we had finished the starter. No one came to check on the meal, which was just OK, until we had finished. We won't return as there are many restaurants in Rhodes who make you feel more welcome For the first time ever I did not leave a tip.

Tried to eat there a few times as it was recommended , but it was full . Finally on the 3rd day the hostess told us there is a free table for us BUT only if we order 3 dishes .....exactly what a customer is waiting to hear . Felt like negotiating at the flea market . Of course we declined and moved along .

However, we did not want to "negotiate" something with you, instead we wanted to serve you so that you do not have to wait but the only available table was the one we showed you and due to its size we told you that you can order 2-3 dishes.
We are sorry for the misunderstanding and we will be happy to see you again in our place to give us a second chance to offer you the service and hospitality we are used to.

We had walked by this restaurant on several evenings and liked the setting and ambience.
The food was nice (apart from the garlic bread which was disappointing) and I particularly liked the pasta with onion and feta, but the portion size was massive and rather overfacing. Thankfully we were able to take our leftovers away with us. If I ever came back I would order one starter and one main to share!!
The staff did not check whether we were enjoying our meal and were not really engaged.

We ate here as the restaurant looks absolutely stunning as you walk through the pathway and always has a buzz. We saw it 2 years again on our last visit to Rhodes and felt this time we had to go for dinner there. We were disappointed to be honest. We wanted a table outside but none were available which is fine, we were walk ins so I accept that. What was disappointing was that the minute we were sat down inside we were basically forgotten about. Ages to order food and drink, and had to ask 3/4 times to get the bottle of water for the table. When the food arrived it was very tasty but all the dishes were Luke warm unfortunately. Everyone outside seemed to be having a great time and service seemed better and more attentive out there, but it felt to us like we’d just been left to our own devices inside. We had a young lady calling in every 20 ins or so to keep apologising for the slow service etc, but the waiter we had was quite frankly rude and arrogant. I wouldn’t return and after the anticipation of coming back to go here for food felt even more disappointing.

We’ve stumbled across this place during our first visit to the old town of Rhodes. It was soo cozy with a dimmed lights on a tables, great music and stunning scenery. That’s why we came back the next day. Out of all the places we’ve been, this one has the best trained staff - they are so professional, it was very pleasant experience. The interiorr inside and outside is quite outstanding.
Talking about food, for starters we took greek salad and grilled feta cheese with honey and sessame seeds. Greek salad was strange, because instead of feta it had a liquid souce on the top with some crisps. And accually that souce reminded me of sour cream, which I was not a big fan of when it comes to greek salad. But the feta was very nice! For our mains - I’ve decided to give a try to greek pasta and my boyfriend took gyros with pork. And what can I say, pasta was good, really good. But unfortunately gyros was very dry and lacked some taste. In general it’s a hit or moss, they have good dishes, but not all of them from the menu are like that.

A lovely restaurant located on a charming street with a view of some charming ancient greek buildings
The food in itself was very good. I ordered the Mousaka and my friend ordered the Salmon. The salmon was exquisite and we have never tasted anything as good as it. Mousaka is something I have never tried before and the waitress told me that their Mousaka had a contemporary twist however I found it absolutely delicious. I am not sure why there are so many reviews criticising the attitude of the waiters. When we went the waiters were prompt and very polite.
The menu offers a wide range of greek food as well as other options. The cocktails were also delicious and the bartenders choice cocktails allowed you to provide some taste preferences and then have the bartender make you up something. I really enjoyed this and thought it was a creative and lovely way to order a drink that was not a « classic » cocktail.
The setting of the restaurant is very classy and I would recommend this to any couples who wish to go out for dinner in Rhodes as it has a lovely candlelit vibe.
All in all would definitely visit again.
