Absolutely my favorite restaurant in Rhodes. Fantastic food, great atmosphere. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent. I have celiac disease and that was not a problem in this place. I will absolutely go back to this restaurant next time I go to Rhodes....I already miss it.

We stumbled into Rustico for lunch when we were in Rhodes for a few hours on a cruise. Boy are we glad we did! Delicious Greek salads! Friendly waiters and beautiful courtyard garden. Wish we could have gone for dinner too....

Rustico is one of our favourites in Rhodes Town. Although tucked away at the top of the Main Street this restaurant is always busy welcoming old and new friends. The staff are very attentive and the food is amazing.

Very good traditional greek food. We came back twice because of good service and food. Try the traditional plates, fantastic.

We had a great time in Rustico Taverna in Rhodes! The food was very well tasting, the service was splendid and the staff was really nice and friendly. In the middle of the noise and crowd in Rhodes Town, it was really nice to sit down and enjoy our dinner in a wonderful garden!

The restaurant is wonderful both in atmosphere, the people that work there and the food. We have been to Rhodes several times and tried many nice restaurants. This is however definitely our favorite and we go there as many times as we can.

We were in Rhodes for one night, staying just down the road. This place was recommended by the hotel owner. It was quite busy, all nationalities. We ate under a large pergola. The food was very Greek, plenty of choice. We started with prawns and then had the farmer's stew, of pork and vegeatables. It came in a very generous... More

We chose this restaurant randomly whilst wandering around Rhodes old town a great experience in itself. The welcome was warm and the service outstanding the food was delicious and I personally took the recommendation of the staff and settled for a lamb dish, what an informed choice it was stunning as was my wife's pasta dish. Our hosts were kind... More

Picture yourself enjoying a traditional Greek meal, with a small vilage atmosphere, with lush greennery overhead, walls covered with rustc farrmer's toolsand handmade pottery throughou.. This is Rustico! The taverna is situated on the corner of Hippodamou and Sokratous street a junction as the streets were created on the hippodamio system (a city were the streets are in blocks). The area is elevated and there were no archeological findings when excavations were performed thus assuming that a small forest existed which is a characteristic of elevated areas of that time.In the first christianic and Byzantine period after continuous destructions of the ancient town by the Persian, Goths and the Arabs and the town’s forced shrinkage into the Byzantine city the forest park which was destroyed by the fires was now open fields which was left as such for defense purposes since the distance was not far from the existing Byzantine defense wall
