A really nice place to stop at the end of the greenway on Lake Como. Very friendly staff, excellent selection of wines, we tried the Calderine, a local winery, paired with interesting platters of cheeses and cured meats. Perhaps the prices are above average, but the visit is worth a stop.

The wine cellar Follie is one of the places you can not miss if you are on Lake Como. Managed with great professionalism. the Owner welcomes you as every host should know how to do.
Deborah and Joost will make you appreciate great wines and delicious food.

This wine bar is exceptional, off the beaten path of the commercial restaurants. It is a wine bar that offers you an extensive list of wine from all parts of the world. You can do flights of tasting, wine by the glass or by the bottle. You can even buy wine from them. Their prices are very fair.
They also offer small plates cheese, meats, olives & etc. You will not be disappointed as the owner & staff are very attentive and knowledgeable..

Very nice place, located in one of the internal streets of the town.
the menu includes a wide choice of cold cuts and cheese platters and local products to pair with the various types of wines
The solution with 3, 4 or 5 wine tastings is very nice. It allows you to enjoy different types of wine during a single dinner.
The quality of both the wine and the food is very good

Amazing!!! The best meal we had on our trip to Tremezzo. The wine flight was a bargain and the cheeses and meats were to die for. Such a welcome change from pizza and pasta.
Don’t forget to order the honey and jams and if you order an additional portion of the aged Parmigano it is served with a pear compote… no words!! Yummo and the kids loved it too

Cantina Follie is an absolute gem of a find. We are her in Tremezzo to explore Lake Como for five nights and are serious about our food. I saw the ridiculous one-star review left by some ignorant idiot because the place didn't serve what he wanted? It is very clear on the menu that it is a wine bar with cheese and meat platters (and more). We started with a "flight" (5 taster glasses) of wine each at a very reasonable €13 each, to sample some sparkling, rose, white and red. We chose four different platters of local cheeses, which were a fabulous mixture of things like Bresaola and Porcini and Beef Carpaccio with aged parmesan and apple, all accompanied by honey and jams. Amazing quality, amazing value and the warmest of welcomes. I cannot recommend it enough. A lovely setting of a terrace under a grapevine with Ibiza chillout tunes and knowledgable, passionate staff. Grazie Mille!

Amazing wine bar. They have tasting formulas by the glass for a really good price. We got helpful advise by Deborah, so we could easily pick what we wanted to taste.
The food we ordered with the wine was also very tasty, simple with quality ingredients, really good.
The terrace is beautiful, the location very picturesque.

We had lunch in this characteristic little place on Lake Como, in Tremezzo.
Aside from the super sunny and hot day (we were in short sleeves!), we really enjoyed taking the walk along the lake and then sitting in this little place to do a little tasting.
The location is small but well organised, we were out on the terrace and had a good time.
The products offered are typical of Lake Como (or in any case of the area), the good quality wine and then the dessert we added separately but it deserved a lot!
The good service is also the very kind, helpful and prepared staff.

Up a couple of flights of steps from the lake, but totally worth the climb. We arrived as walk ins and were really well looked after. 10 out of 10 for the gorgeous wine tasting option where you can select your own 5 to try. We ordered a platter of 7 cured meats and a platter of 7 cheeses. The staff were excellent advising about the different types of wines and about the provenance of the food specialities of the region. Beautifully presented food and wine, nice terrace in the shade and a wonderful place to spend a few hours eating, drinking and chatting. And very reasonably priced too. Do not miss visiting this wonderful restaurant.

This was an amazing find. Our AirBandB host recommended this restaurant and we loved the people and the food. Deborah and Joost welcomed us into their restaurant and made recommendations which were fabulous. Each platter is prepared with skill and care. The flavors were amazing and well paired. We actually went twice because we loved the personal service and attention that Joost and Deborah provided. Their wine caves and storage we fun to explore also. You do not want to miss this great place.

Popped in after stumbling upon this place during lunch, such a treat! Wonderful and unique wine from all over. The food was absolutely incredible, very fresh, filling, and delicious. Great atmosphere, nice and shady and the rooftop is super pretty. Staff is very attentive and friendly. 11/10. Just wonderful!

Arriving in Tremezzo for a four night stay we had this little wine bar on our radar, I think thanks to a travel guide. all we wanted was a simple supper, a relaxed environment and a glass of wine. We got that and much more. The staff were knowledgable and friendly running an Aladdin's Cave of wine over three floors.
We had a wonderful sparkling rose, local white and red wines and a selection of local cheeses and meats.
All sat on a quiet terrace overlooking the back street with Como Lago in the distance.
One I would recommend for sure. We booked online to avoid disappointment.

Very good location, close to Villa Carlotta and to the ferry boat. They have an awesome selection of Italian wines and great food. We ordered a "tagliere" of cheese and meats, with local products of extremely high quality. The waitress explained us everything on the different kind of cheese and meat. If you go to Tremezzo, this is the best stop you can make if you want a glass of good wine and something to eat with it.

We had such a great experience here! This is such a cute wine bar off the main street in Tremezzo. My husband and I had walked 11km on the Greenway del Lago before making it to lunch, and this was the perfect spot to recharge! We each enjoyed a customized wine flight of local wines, all of which we really liked. I absolutely loved the vegan board with hummus, pickles, veggies, and figs (the figs were delicious!). My husband enjoyed his charcuterie board as well. If we are lucky enough to return to Lake Como, we would love to visit here again!

What a beautiful find. We stayed in Tremezzo for 5 nights. There were some nice traditional restaurants on the front but Cantina Folle offers something really different. We had only had breakfast that and by 6 pm we were really hungry. We went there with the idea of a pre- dinner drink and snack. We had an amazing selection of local cheese, charcuterie and beautiful wines paired with everything. The waitress was charming and knew her menu and wine inside out. Although we thought it might be just a wine bar with some cheese platters- it was so much more. We had booked a table at another restaurant, but I wish we had stayed there for the whole evening. So nice to find a restaurant that really cares about service, attention to detail, and knowing their produce. Everything was produced locally. We had a tasting menu of wines. €13 for 5 glasses of individually chosen wines- prosecco, white, rose and red. I can’t recommend this restaurant more highly
