Meandered on from Lathkill Dale and arrived Matlock Bath. Parked up at the bathsd car park, plenty of space this day. We wandered off and decided on a cup of tea. Noticed Cherry's slighlty off the A6, but not much and after asking as to whether they served drinks made with soya milk decided to give it a go. Very... More

Thank you for your review. Sorry I wasn't around to meet you myself but glad that Helen & Steve were able to fulfill your requirements. I'm sure that if manufacturers were a little more flexible and inventive with the quantities of soya milk that you are forced into buying and then wasting, then more businesses like ours would be able... Thank you Julie for your very encouraging review. We chose this location as it is a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of the main road and is therefore a great place to just sit and relax with a cup of coffee or even a beer. Hope to see you again soon. More

My husband and I visited Matlock Bath today for the first time. Whilst walking through, we couldn't help but notice that most of the restaurants were fish and chips orientated. We didn't want this, but did fancy a sandwich each. I am really glad we stumbled upon Cherry's as it is a beautiful little place. I had a bacon and... More

Is set back slightly off the main road. We stopped in on the off chance for breakfast. Very warm and welcoming small cafe. The food is all freshly cooked. Plentiful portions and really nice. Would highly recommend calling in when visiting the area

Popped in for lunch - not knowing the area. 4 people - all ordered something different. The food was nicely presented, tasty and good value. The staff were friendly, helpful and very informative regarding the area etc. Definitely a cafe worth visiting.

Thank you for your lovely review. It was good to meet and chat with you. Defiantly spurred us into revisiting your part of the country ASAP. Matlock Bath is very busy at the moment with the illuminations which last for another week after this, well worth a visit. Alan. More

At Cherry's Cafe we provide a clean, friendly and value for money service. Our cafe is an oasis off the busy A6 road. We are a licensed cafe so you can enjoy a beer or glass of wine in the cafe. We also serve Irish coffees. There are plush leather seats inside. We use local produce and all our cakes are made by us in the cafe. We have a five star hygiene rating and have a Derbyshire County Council Heart of Derbyshire gold award in recognition of the healthy eating pledges we have made and the practices we follow such as - using a low fat oil for frying, using a lean minced beef in our products, using cooked ham with all visible fat trimmed off, using a low fat cheese, using semi skimmed milk, ensuring our chips are heated to 175 degrees to reduce the take up of fat, shaking and drying chips to remove excess fat, removing salt from our tables and not using it in our cooking or baking, offering fresh fruit, salads, wholemeal bread, pitta bread, and brown rice, offering sugar free drinks and freshly madefruit drink. We source our meats from Robin Maycock a top award winning master butchers which was established in 1850! We have an e-Changer horizontal baby changing table in our washroom and have a DCC's breastfeeding welcome here award. Our Cafe is fairly unique in that we have our own small limestone stalactite cave which our guests can view if they wish. It is home to the European cave spider, Meta menardi, a long-jawed orb-weaving spider. We offer storage boxes for bikers wishing to leave heavy helmets and coats whilst they visit Matlock Bath. Cherry's Cafe supports financially the work of Just for Dogs rescue and rehoming centre at Brailsford Derbyshire. We do this through the sale of handcrafted items, table quizes and customers kind donations. Our staff are all fully trained in food safety and customer services. While we recognise that some customers have specific dietary requirements, we are unable to offer a gluten or nut free menu. Due to the multi use of equipment in our compact kitchen area, supplier disclaimers and the possibility of human error, we can not offer a total assurance that our menu items are 100% gluten or nut free. As such we consult with customers to ensure that they can make the most informed menu decisions. Please speak to us as we will be happy to provide information about our food and preparation. It is our aim at Cherry''s Cafe to offer clean, friendly and good value for money service at all times. In the unfortunate event of things going wrong and mistakes happening we will do our best to rectify the situation to everyone''s satisfacton. Where mistakes have occurred we would expect the opportunity to correct them at the time.
