Just like to say how much my husband and I enjoyed the food served here, with particular excellent service by our waitress "Katie". Katie went that extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our 1st time out and about for some time. Thank you, we...will be back xxMore

Nice location in the heart of the town and the centre of the High Street with the background of the castle and the cathedral. Te building reminds of the Crooked House, all angles and slantings but if you feel like sitting outside, there's a nice...a nice shaded area. Good coffee and I recommend the orange and almond polenta cakeMore

Visited on the off chance for lunch today Never been before. We had belly pork and crispy seaweed and would highly recommend it it was delicious. The staff were attentive but not over powering. And we will certainly be visiting again.

What could be more delightful than sitting under the cherry trees at the Cheese Room Botanicals, just off Rochester High Street, with the cathedral behind us and tucking into a lunch of sourdough toasties? Perfect bank holiday treat, as the cherry blossom swirled around us...like confetti.More

Came in to build a couple of hampers for Christmas presents, second year running. Staff are so friendly and helpful that even a cheese novice like myself can build something delicious for friends and family. Absolutely fantastic. Will be back next year.

Dropped in for lunch with my partner, there was a great array of options and the quality of the food felt as though it had increased from last time (it wasn't bad before!) Lovely atmosphere and staff, great to see them thriving in uncertain times.

After a long day carrying out errands and DIY tasks yesterday, my husband suggested we take a relaxing evening off of our usual house renovation routines and instead treat ourselves to a cheese board and a large selection of gins. Of course I was in...agreement with him and we ventured down into the historic town of Rochester. As we weaved through consistent odes to Dickens and cobbled streets, the wind blew us in the direction of Cheese Room Botanicals. As we entered, the staff welcomed us warmly, whilst being dressed up in Halloween themed costumes... To cut a long story short, the cheese was great - everything you want from cheese really and a bit more too. The alcohol was perfection - it really hit the spot. The barman however (who was dressed in a bloody surgeon's outfit and had contouring make up on that looked particularly professional) was outstanding. What an asset to the team, he must add some real spirit to a shift!! I did not catch his name but I hope his efforts were acknowledged... possibly in the form of winning bottle of champagne...More

Stopped here for pre dinner drinks and olives, which were super tasty. Delighted to see the new name as The Cheese room is one of our favourite places in the high street but due to social distancing no longer possible to sit at the bar....If the menu is along the same lines as cheese room then you can’t go wrong as always delicious. We sat outside and staff were very attentive and friendly. Thank you to Julie the owner for going out of your way to get our chutney as we know you were very busy. Will definitely be back to eat here and very soon .More

The atmosphere of the place is really nice and the food was tasty! I had a goat's cheese tortilla and my boyfriend had a veggie toasty and we really enjoyed both. Also very much recommend the cakes! We had a chocolate and banana cake which...was fantastic!More
