Was delivered earlier than expected, the house special fried rice is outstanding. Beef in black bean sauce was great. Definitely use them next time we're in Birmingham

First impressions of this place were favourable - it's nicely decorated and the staff were friendly. But the food itself was poor. The starter (chicken satay) was tough and rubbery, with odd parts that were unpleasantly crunchy as though dried out. The main course was a bit better, meat at least seemed fresh, but the black bean sauce was bland.... More
Ordered yesterday the house special, chilli squid and Spring rolls. The food was really bland, and the meat in the special looked raw. Since 2am this morning both me and my boyfriend have been violently sick, with diarrhoea. Please, please, please do not eat here, I have never felt so awful, do not waste your money, and do not risk getting... More
First visit to this restaurant and we ordered a takeaway. It was very quiet ie no one was in there! We had a mixed starter to share ,which I have to say was lovely!! Lots of little bites and they were all delicious! The curry was, I'm afraid to say, pretty average and quite disappointing. It was quite tasteless and... More
Popped in to our favourite Chinese. Mixed platter to start. One house and one chicken chow mein. Curry sauce and chips. Superb, tasty food. Service to match. Just the two of us in at 5pm. Place booked out though. Thank you Tao Tao. Keep up the good work.
I've ordered takeaway from Tao Tao about 6 times now, and every time I have been really impressed. The delivery time is brilliant - it's always been here within 25 minutes of ordering - and the food is great. Always really tasty and in my opinion one of the best in the area.
Ordered a large meal starters, main meal etc. By the time we tasted the starters we felt ill and rejected the lot!!!! Duck was at least afew days old, Hard, burnt and uneditable. Then the total opposite the Ribs, which Were not RIBS, were uncooked with raw fat - they reminded me of chopped up bones that you buy in... More
Came here with my family and friends. Very good food tasted amazing. I had the spring rolls for starters and a beef curry for my mains. The food came almost instantly and had the choice of having a five minute break in between my meals. Waitors are nice and very friendly. I would recommend to anyone.
We went in to Tao Tao on New Years Day, we were really pleased with the level of service that we received and the food was fantastic. We ordered the stuffed roast duck and steamed sea bass with ginger and spring onion and washed it down with a bottle of Rioja. The waiters were really friendly and enthusiastic, despite having... First time eating at this place and it will be the last time. We was greeted by a smiling waiter and it was downhill the rest of the way. The restaurant was very cold and empty, this might have been as it was early evening on a Saturday. We were given menus and then we waited and waited while the... More
