We visited this restaurant while staying in the Spean Bridge area and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The interior is cosy and hospitable. And being a station it's very handy to catch the train back to Fort William after a meal! The service was polite, friendly...More

Staying at a local b & b so needed a place for dinner. This was recommended. Basically a pub/diner in a converted station. Service good. Food fine. Did the trick. Wouldn't think of using the venue to propose but to refuel was fine.

Excellent food and a lovely warm welcome in quaint old fashioned surroundings. Could not fault the service we received and our meal was great value for the price.

A good menu to suit most tastes and good range of drinks, particularly whiskys. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Ideal for anyone staying at Local B&Bs.

Very busy , lucky to book the last table on the night. Really enjoyed our meals , food is limited but very creative. Jacobite Chicken is so tasty and the Fettucine Salmon so full of flavour. Only criticism is the decor was a little tired...More

In a special setting, an old train station, this small restaurant offers a discreet variety of culinary propositions that are delightful and affordable. Best fish and chips, for us.

We had such a wonderful evening at the Old Station Restaurant. Vanessa and Ben were both wonderful host/chef and the food was amazing. My husband still hasn't stopped talking about the haggis stuffed chicken breast. Highly recommend!

A mile walk from our guest house but well worth it. We were made to feel welcome the moment we arrived. It's obviously very popular as the restaurant was busy, luckily we had booked a table. We were given plenty of time to choose our...More

There are not many country restaurants where after an excellent dinner you can step outside and catch the Sleeper train to London! We resisted the temptation when the train arrived (right on time!!), and carried on enjoying our dessert (creamy Scottish ice cream) and cafetiere...More

At the Old Station Restaurant & Bar we offer great locally sourced food at reasonable prices. Dine in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, in the unique setting of a converted Victorian railway station on the world famous West Highland Line. We are located at Spean Bridge station where the Commandos began their training during the Second World War.
Relax beside the fire in our public bar and enjoy local real ales. We are the only bar in the village serving real ale on draught. We also have a good selection of malt whisky, Scottish gins and wine. We have a gluten-free menu which is available on request. Children are very welcome ... And we even have a special menu for the wee ones!

Our Bar is open from 5pm until late in high season.
Our Restaurant is open from 5.30pm until 9pm
