Great country pub. We went for Sunday lunch around 2 weeks ago and the food was great, service was friendly and prompt. Knocking one star off as my dessert (apple and cinnamon crumble) wasn’t to my taste and the cauliflower cheese could be cheesier. However...I would certainly come back againMore

Incredibly friendly staff with a welcoming atmosphere. We attended as a family of four during Early September. The social distancing measures are very good and the staff wore masks - we get very safe. The FoxBurger was amazing !

Absolutely thrilled with the service and food at the red fox! The sirloin steak was honestly outstanding, filled with flavour and cooked to perfection. Other members of my group had duck and curry and said they were to die for. Rarely review places as I often...forget but this was unforgettable, and I have to show my appreciation and support to the red fox for doing so well during these uncertain and stressful times. Staff were so attentive and polite, would 10000% recommend to anyone!!More

Eat here this evening on the eat out scheme. Nice traditional country pub in a quiet village. We had the Duck Confit, Camembert Wedge and Steak & Chips, steak was cooked to perfection, however not the leanest steak I have every had. Also had a...couple of desserts, very nice. Worth a trip off the beaten track.More
