I was very sad when I heard that Laveena's was no longer open but after going to the new restaurant that took over, the Captain's Daughter, I got over it. Fantastic and affordable local seafood, as well as some local beers and drinks.

We stopped for lunch after whale watching. The interior of the restaurant was charming and the food was fabulous. Our party of six had a range of food including salads, fish sandwich, chowder, and hamburgers. All delicious! Highly recommend for a casual, delicious meal

A surprisingly diverse menu. Our fish was cooked perfectly. Clean washroom and friendly service. Worth the drive past the balancing rock scenic hike.

My husband raved over the chowder which was full of scallops and I loved my green salad with berries. It's a quiet place that locals as well as ferry users frequent.

We visited this historic spot on the way back to the mainland and the lunch was faboo. My husband said the crab cake was the best he's ever had.
