We stopped at the restaurant for lunch whilst travelling through Poligny. The menu du jour offered excellent food and great value. Will definitely visit again.

Whilst visiting a supplier closet by in Saint Lothian, she took us for lunch in Aux Platanes. Situated in a beautiful little square, we sat outside to enjoy the sweltering 32 degree heat. We chose the plat du jour, and although they had run out of the Melon Soup, which I was intrigued to try, the replacement country pate was... More

Easily the best restaurant in all of Poligny & is one of our top ten best restaurants in all our French food experiences. As usual in many French Towns & Villages the parking is free, always a good start in my book. Its a good plan once you arrive preferably before 12 noon & be seated no later than 12.15pm... More

We used this as a lunch stop on route. It was mid-August so fairly busy. It’s a nice stop, nothing special but pleasant. Salad was fresh and tasty, not cheap but a fair price.

Delightful little restaurant looking out over the square. Free WiFi for the kids. And the food was fabulous, my steak was cooked to perfection with a superb creamy mushroom sauce. The kids burgers were perfect, not overdone as in England and not raw as in too many places in France, home made chips!, my children have never eaten so much.... More

Nice local restaurant with hearty-sized portions! Only strange thing was when we went back later to have a drink, we couldn't order alcohol if we didn't have food! Bizarre!

Food very good and tasty with a good selection of local and general dishes. Morbid letter is good local dish if you want to try it. The restaurant was busy with locals and you need to get there before the 8.00pm rush. We would certainly eat there again.

We happened to stop by on a Sunday afternoon where typically 90% of everything in France is closed looking for the possibility of a half decent meal in pleasant surroundings. Not only was the food excellent, the atmosphere and the service we received encouraged us to spend the whole afternoon sipping wine, chatting with the owner, patrons and whoever else... More

We've made it a habit to stop at this small restaurant in the main square of this small provincial French town, when travelling from Luxembourg to Nyon. Is is cosy, sunny both inside as well as outside, it has an atmosfere of times gone. It is so much more romantic to stop here than to stop along the motorway. The... More

I had lunch there with family members. The food was disappointing (we ordered the recommendation of the day, rayfish with capers, which is a pretty simple dish to make, but the seasoning was off and the cooking of the fish had made it dry and bland). The service was correct and the location too. I just wouldn't go there again... More
